yeh i did go, i thought it was amazing - i love the school so much!, and i think it helped me decide my firm/insurance - certainly helped me decide where im going to stay if i get in and all that...
did you go to the econ talk?
Nah i went to the management talk, they also included a bit about management and economics so sounds like i can switch courses pretty easily if i want to when i get there. It's nice and easy to get to (travel) aswell but i'm still not sure which to put as firm/insurance.

btw did you go to the wrong building? i did at first and some woman had to take a few of us to the right place cos they put the wrong building in the email :s

Wrong building? which one did you go to? cos i went came out of Horton's building and walked passed a block of buldings - loooked inside and it was a management talk!! i was like :O oh dear, so ive got no insight of what management is like.
I went to the economics talk and he was going on about how that even if we miss a grade say BBC, and we've put down Holloway as either firm/insurance, there is more chance of us getting in during clearing than someone who just applies becuase there is a space and all that.
It wasnt hard driving to the place it took me just over an hour to get there, but when i go there, i wont be driving because we're not allowed our cars parked there during the first year. This means that ill have to get the train which will take liek 1hr 30 mins .
Quite impressed with the fact that its only 40 mins train away from waterloo, it does mean getting to london is easy.
What course are you doing again?

I applied for straight management, but not really sure what i want to do. In the email they told us to meet in the management building, but the talk was in the auditorium instead and about half the people were 15-20 mins late lol. Yeah i didnt drive because i knew i wouldnt be taking my car, was easy enough, the southern service then south west trains took about 50 mins from south east london.

Yeah i saw 2 rooms, they were both nice, one had an ensuite toilet only, the other had toilet + shower. The newer accomodation is much nicer with the shower etc but more expensive but im not sharing a shower with 10 people!

The kitchens are quite nice aswell and the tour guide said we can take those george foreman grills and stuff.

Contact time you mean then time you are allowed to see your teacher in outside lectures? if so its only 2 hours per week + 1 hour of lectures and 2 hours of workshop

I live in streatham, i go from streatham hill to clapham junction, takes 10 mins, then from Clapham junction to egham, takes 30 mins + interchange time. The management course is very general, they said its good for people who are not really sure what area they want to specialise in (me!)

Didn't she say where to meet? is that the general open day or the management open day? doesnt sound very nice lol, i emailed them instead of calling.

Also I was a bit disappointed that they dont do a year out in industry scheme.

Reid hall is quite lovely, not very comfy floors from my experience, but a nice community feel in each building!
