Read post 4.

I have decided to either go back to Carphonewarehouse or get it from Argos - both the same price, £80 and on the network I want, 02.
ah, sorry about that, didnt see that post lol. argos have ****ty aftersales service though, if your phone has a problem, they will just send it off, and charge you for everything, or not even bother. buying from a dedicated store will give you the option of a decent insurance policy, or aftersales service that isnt provided to you by monkeys

Ahhh okey dokey, ta for that.

Will just go to carphonewarehouse and find the sales advisor who I saw Monday think she was the store manager tbh, nice lady and very helpful too (i think its why she sold me the O2 handset because I said it was going aboard) - hopefully she'll help me out.

I paid £100 for mine and I bought it from Argos in November '07.

Just had a quick look on the Argos website and they have 3 locked handsets...

Vodafone £79.99

O2 £79.99

Orange £69.99

If you're not on any of these networks I suggest buying the Orange handset and then unlocking it. This will cost about £10-15 from a local shop.

edit: And I just realised you already know this. Ha.
