Well, it would feel a bit weird at first but if I really liked him I wouldn't let it bother me, it's just a name.

you see i would have thought that, but some of my friends have said they would think it would be just too weird

surely a name isn't worth losing a relationship over?

Ah, one of my friends went out with a girl with the same surname as him. Hilarity, of course, ensued.
along those lines... my great grandmas diary they found when she died said "breakwell for now but not forever" n then she married someone else with the same surname lol

but back to topic...
my "real" name is charlotte but i wouldnt be put off a guy called charles, or charlie... i wouldnt if he was called charlotte tho lol
if i was called charlie i might be a little but i would also be rather peeved that someone was calling me charlie in first place lol
but with lottie im safe anyway not many guys out there called lottie....
it wouldnt really bother me tho i dont think..(i mean if i did have a unisex name)... may cause confusion tho....

i find some unisex names funny especially the ones where i know someone of the opposite sex with the name...
For example at school i was friends with a girl called ashley so ashley to me always seemed like a girls name... then i met a guy called ashley but because of the girl ashley it was still like embedded in my mind as a girls name heehee

Bit of a weird name for a bloke to have

I don't know..if i was Sam (as in Samantha) and a bloke was Sam (as in Samuel)..I think it'd depends how much I fancied him.
