Hmm, right ok then.
As someone clearly likes KOL muchly, have you heard Sex On Fire, if so, what do you make of it? I'm just curious.
I used to be called 'King of Leon', that might give you a clue to my obsession

Yeah, its a good song although a tiny bit one paced. It doesnt really matter what I think though, if you like it then who am I to disagree. You should just go on youtube/bittorrent listen to their different songs and make up your own mind really :p:

I hate how they've gone mainstream! Listen to "Milk", "on call" or if you insist on the latest album "closer".

Listened to their new album before anything else, almost put me off because it just isn't that good.

Listening to Youth and Young Manhood. Very glad i made that decision, one of the best Rock albums i have listened to in a long time from this decade. Sex On Fire never grew on me but i heard it many times, a decent song but not that good.

Thanks to all those who posted! I have them all, except for Youth and Young Manhood, but I do have Red Morning Light off that album.

I would advise to get Youth and Young Manhood. Gave an awesome first listen. Better than their newer stuff too.

I prefer the older stuff to the newer stuff, and I'm right in saying that Youth and Young Manhood was the first album?

I think I will get my mitts on it then

Kings of Leon Rocks!!
And you rock for getting into Kings of Leon! :P
I'm completely head over heels for "use somebody". I can listen and listen and listen to it forever and NEVER get bored.

EDIT:
i just realised the date of the thread.
Gosh im a total failure at life -_-

But songs like:
Red Morning Light
The Bucket
Fans
On Call
Charmer
Milk
Velvet Snow

'Only By the Night' lost its appeal quite quickly for me, and the incessant overplaying of 'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody' hasn't helped me get back into the band lately. However, I still think 'Closer' is excellent and it'll remain a hidden gem, unfortunately.
