To be honest I think the OP is lucky that they won't get into loads of debt that comes with the loan and being a party fiend like myself.. they'll probably get a really good degree too! Yay!

The year is young. I haven't made any friends yet either.

[QUOTE=newDana]I would say that only having 4 people in your class is a blessing not a hinderance. You'll get to know each other quickly, as you'll *have* to talk to each other. QUOTE]

Very good point. Trust me there is nothing more horrible than entering a lecture room full of about 60 people who are all chatting amongst themselves, with you sitting quietly by yourself. This is what I'm dreading most about some of my lectures this year.

Cut the excuses, get your ass out there and start talking to people. Its not all about drinking. Theres nothing stopping you getting just a coke, or orange juice etc. Ive met people at uni everywhere, start chatting at the bus stop, in the library etc. You get out what you put in, you cant sit back and expect people to flock to you. Of everyone you see out getting hammered there are plenty more doing other things, cooking, clubs, sports, hanging out with friends, movie nights etc.
