because i use the same tea bag more than once???

basically ive switched to green tea and like it really week..... so there for i can get 3 or 4 mugs out of one tea bag (because i only have it really week..... literally, i take the bag out as soon as ive poured the water!!!)

because of this, i put the tea bag in a dish and leave it on the side for the rest of the day..... i throw it away in the evening and start a new one each day.

basically everyday when my boyfriend gets home from work he complains about my tea bag, telling me im disgusting!!!!!...... am i really that gross?????
We had to do that for a while after my dad was paid off from work but havent known anyone to do it as normal practise.

Still, you're saving money, very sensible. Fair play t'ya.

Take a glass of water. Leave it out in your kitchen, uncovered, for 24 hours. Then drink it. You decide whether it's gross or not.
I do that sometimes if I cba to go upstairs, nothing wrong with me health-wise.

I haven't had a shower in four weeks. Nothing wrong with me health-wise.

(That's not true, but you get the point. Just because you haven't died, just means you have a good immune system, not that drinking day-old water is healthy.)

Never thought of that but, nah won't be doing it. There are much grosser things you could be doing, it's not THAT gross.

tea leaves and a strainer instead. You only have to use what you need and then you can throw it away

That's what I was thinking. Please don't keep a wet tea bag. It'll only accumulate bacteria and dust and crap...

I use one teabag for two cups of tea, but generally only when I'm making two cups of tea at the same time, one for me and one for my mum. If I'm only making one but my mum or I will be making another cup soon, I chuck the used teabag in a cup to use in a bit. I wouldn't leave a teabag out for more than a half hour or so!

I used to HATE when my friends at school would use one tea bag per cup...they were small cups as well, so you could probably have made four cups from one bag, but they were all wasteful fools and thought I was being stingy!

Nah, it's not gross.
Quite a good idea. Kudos for green tea, too.

it's gross, why not just use one tea bag to make a pot and then keep it in a flask or something. Just re-using the teabag all day is nasty imo.
