Before bed, I usually listen to...
    - Regina Spektor - Aquarius
    - José González - Heartbeats

...and although I actually feel a bit ashamed for jumping on the Robert Pattinson band wagon... his song 'Let Me Sign' is actually undeniably soothing... and rather brilliant. :o:

Mine would have to be 'Hoppipola' by Sigur Ros, I absolutely love it.

I also quite like William Barber's 'Adagio for Strings', although the Tiesto version is much better [Although not soothing :P]

Yous should try For Emma Forever Ago (album) by Bon Iver, beautifully relaxing and my favourite album of last year.

    I also suggest:

Scott Matthews - Dream Song, Elusive
    Jack Johnson - Breakdown
    Sigur Ros - Gong
Tricky - Hell Is Around The Corner
    Massive Attack - Teardrop

Pretty much everything by Explosions in the Sky...
Exactly who I was going to mention.:p:

God Is An Astronaut - Fragile; they're similar to Explosions In The Sky.
Mogwai and This Will Destroy You are also in the same genre as the two mentioned above.

Though it's a shame the band I'm going to mention isn't very original anymore, they are very relaxing
