Hey zhiquan, we spoke already somewhere on the Oxford forum if you can remember.

Just FYI, you cannot apply for both Biochemistry and Medicine at Oxford. UCAS will only allow you to apply for 1 course at EITHER Oxford or Cambridge - there's no way you can apply to both institutions as well. You can, however, apply for more than 1 course at other universities. For example, it's possible to apply for Biochemistry and Medicine at Imperial. You can only apply for 4 Medicine courses out of your 6 choices on your UCAS form anyway, so you'd have to choose 2 non-Medicine courses to apply for as well (or you could leave them blank, but most just exhaust all 6 options).

Oh, and Victorians...?

Hey everyone.. nice to meet you all as well

Lol.. the everlasting tj vs vj rivalry...

Nutter:Thanks for the advice on the UCAS application form for oxbridge..will take note of that!

Knogle: Which year were you from? do you know ziyang/max from imperial or michelle from LSE? We went for a london trip recently during the june hols and met a lot of seniors...a lot of SC people end up in london from what i notice...

Haha.one major draw to UK for a lot of people in my class is that we can go all over europe- france spain italy for super cheap prices during holidays.. and one economics undergrad from LSE told us that it's basically six months of school only for her course.. and she has a 14 hour week! And london is super fun. BUT THE FOOD is super expensive..

Everything is super expensive. Except for the relatively cheap trips to the rest of Europe, which I suppose would make up for it :p:

(I refuse to stoop to juvenile levels of unfounded rivalry. *sniffs.)

zhiquan: Since you're a guy, you should consider the Disruption factor. That's the ONLY advantage that NUS Medicine has, besides being dirt cheap of course.
