Estimated grade boundaries for this exam - roughly???

isnt an A* usually around 180/ 200? im not sure but this exam was a bit strange at parts so in guessing fairly low boundaries maybe 75-80/100 for an a*

The grade boundaries will depend on how hard/easy the calculator paper will be. I hope it's 83/200 for a B

A* is normally around 165/200 and an A is like 130/200

Well, from looking at Arsey's solutions I don't think I got more than 65 which is a bit naff. Hoping I can work some magic on this calculator paper on Friday as I always perform better with a calculator. Decent grade boundaries please, Edexcel

Very useful thanks, but are there some questions missing? Because you've missed out the one about Sumeet's triangular pond.

Oh and I found today's exam very hard - probably because I'm working at a Grade C right now. I really want a B in this exam so I need to do really well in the next paper which will be quite hard considering I have to sit 3 more papers on that same day /:

what did everyone get for the prism question? i got 2hrs 15 but have a feeling i got it wrong 😓

    Posted from TSR Mobile
You didn't minus the 30 minutes that had already occurred. You were supposed to minus 30 minutes from 2 hours 15 minutes leaving 1 hour 45 minutes. But you'll probably get 4 or 5 marks

Most people found this exam hard, seems likely we get like November 2012 grade boundaries if the difficulty continues onto the next paper...

How many marks was the prism question worth? (the pond one) I think I got it wrong as I put 105 minutes but I did show the working for the volume of the shape etc. Looking at the unofficial mark scheme I have already lost a maximum of 6marks (might gain some back for working out though ) and then whatever marks I lose from the prism question do you think this is good enough for an a* if I am consistent on the calculator

Probability question was 7 over 40 and the pond question was 1hour 45 or 105 minutes.
