Todays exam was decent however, easy marks can be dropped and some reactions looked a bit odd :s I dont know what to think of this paper tbh

What did people get for the percentage of ammonia converted?

For the radicals question, no termination and one initiation?
I crossed out a few boxes and had to redo some.. Would the examiner mark the ones I ticked and not the ones I scribbled out? It was a bit messy

As long as you labelled it clearly and didn't go outside the margins then I don't see why not?

Yah I put this
increases until the enzyme is fully saturated so rate increases before further addition of substrate has no effect on rate of reaction

For the name I put 2-hydroxy-2-methylpropanenitrile.

I thought that question was very unfair though. It's just not on the course.

Yes because of the lone pair on the nitrogen.

I have reached a new low this year.
Well, maybe I can pick myself up next year - I think I already know I might be staying

Cl is more electronegative so bond is already polar, I+ would become electrophile and would be substituted for a hydrogen on the phenol

But there was 2 CH3 groups on the same carbon? One must be a methyl group.
