LOL. Feel for those current students/alumni who get zillions of PMs as well as these questions

Annoying as it can get, there is a LOT of bad information put out there, mostly by the media but also by fellow applicants. It's understandable that people get confused and insecure!
I think it's best to just contact the uni from personal experience. Lol funnily enough the best people to ask about whether your grades are good enough for Oxford is Oxford themselves and the college you want to apply to. Agree with you about wrong information, there's so much of it! Haha I have actually asked current students about my PS and the HAT though

Yeah, I have done. I sent mine off by post and I'm also doubting whether I've done everything right and whether they'll even get it
Oh how I wish I could've posted mine! Took ages to scan it properly!

Same, but not when the exam is this close. I started studying really hard for PAT since September and I'm really glad I have at least Section A in the bag
    Cool!
And good luck for the PAT

It's a wee bitty early, most people haven't even sat their admissions test yet.

Oh, I see. As far as I know, I don't have an admissions test for Law, therefore I was just curious. Anyhow, I shall return after a little while to ask again. Thanks for letting me know.

There is an admissions test for Law, though - we had to sit the LNAT.

Yeah, I did that. I was more thinking something like Oxford-made law test that we have to sit..

We're not supposed to get an email after emailing written work and the photo right, or do they confirm they received it?

It is, in a sense, but then you're just annoying people at admissions often unnecessarily when they have far less time than we do, to be dealing with such things Sometimes it's more comfortable/quicker/better to annoy people on TSR instead, especially if it's not a complicated case or to do with extenuating circumstances

I'd rather have asked the dumb questions I asked to people on TSR rather than the music admissions team, put it that way
