    Stop being butthurt...

and actually we did spend our money well, 25m for Bailey is a steal considering Luiz went for 50m then 32m, 26m for Mickey is a good price for an excellent player, Ibra on a free is a win win and Pogba for 89m is a lot of money for a brand and a quality player who is adapting to the league.

and you, as a liverpool fan, can hardly mention money because if we start speaking about Liverpools transfer business you'll end up going back to the hole you came from...

Also shout out to Blind for his Steven Gerrard tribute
Butthurt because we're 3 points clear of you after a significantly harder fixture list?

Can't judge Bailly* (please learn to spell) yet - he's looking good but we all know how things can go up and down, especially for defenders.

Please don't say Mkhitaryan* (seriously with the spelling) was good business. Just don't.

89m for a player you realised on a free. Top notch!

What are you on about? Our transfer business in recent years has been exceptional, both buying and selling.
Clyne and Firmino were two of our best players last season, with Lovren and Lallana both showing why we paid the money we did for them.
Even poor transfers like Benteke were sold with no loss, in addition to letting fringe players like Allen and Ibe go for respectable fees.

In summary, don't reference the transfers of a team when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about...

No. you're butthurt because you believed the hype that you were going to smash us to pieces and now you're here seeking minor consolations. 3 points is nothing in PL, and you can bet your butt (which is hurt) that we'll finish above you in the league

We can judge Bailey from what we have seen so far, and he looks great

How can you say Mickey for 26m wasn't a good buy, there are no justifications for saying anything otherwise until he gets on the pitch with regular minutes.

We did not realise Pogba, nor did we *release him (seriously with the grammar), we bought him back after he chose to leave as a kid to attain first team football which is a admirable and brave move.

Lallana, Lovren are not good buys. They wouldn't get into the United side. Stop dreaming. Can was a good buy, Henderson is rubbish, Carroll cost you 35m, Benteke cost you 35m, Struridge might as well sign for the Hospital team, Balotelli was a **** buy. Going a bit further back you paid 20m+ for Downing, Iago Aspas, Borini.... the list is endless. Lallana is a poor mans Wayne Rooney and Lovren is a poor mans Phil Jones. The only Liverpool player who would get into our team is Coutinho, and he's on his way out soon!

In summary don't try and have a dig at United's spending when Liverpools is 100x worse.

We actually don't look suspect though and Hazard ain't even our main threat, he goes in and out of games too often this season. Main threat is clearly Costa and also how we have the option of going two up top. Moses also is a big threat and how your midfield responds to the Kante-Matic holding pairing.

You also have us playing a 6 man midfield against your 5 and hurting you guys in wide areas(when you like to camp the middle).
    Chelsea don't look suspect defensively...Ok.

Costa might be a threat but he's going up against Bailly and Smalling which won't be an easy game for him.

We also have a Pogba and Fellaini so we'll likely bully you in midfield. Matic isn't the same player he was before but Kante will be a problem.

Lack of pace will expose you. Especially if Rashford and Martial are up against Ivanovic and Alonso.

How are you gonna say one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga for £26mill wasn't a good deal... He's hardly played so you can't say he isn't worth it based on performances.

A very good performance by you guys. Already the media fawning over Liverpool and Klopp is becoming frantic and loathsome - this helped knock it on the head for at least a while.

Have you watched our last few matches? Matic and Kante to get bullied in midfield? I'm more worried about Herrera than either of those two anyway.

Costa won't be on his own anyway as Hazard and Willian/Pedro play higher up the pitch (assuming we play 3atb). We also are likely to have 6 in midfield so I don't get how our midfield is going to be bullied when we have an extra midfielder in the team?

Also tell me more about lack of pace when our 3 man defence has Azpilicueta and David Luiz in it? Leicester are a team of pace merchants and they never troubled us once with their pace...

You're ignoring the £250 million you spent in the transfer windows before the Summer.

Almost £300 million spent to play like Tony Pulis.

If we had 66% possession and only created 2 chances at home Mourinho would be slaughtered, yet not a word in the Liverpool biased media about their precious Klopp

    Basically this.
If you're gonna claim already that Bailly has been a good buy, you must also admit that Mkhitaryan has been a poor one.

Spending hundreds of million to play the most defensive, negative football I've ever seen and literally playing for a draw. How the great have fallen...

Media acting like it was a "tactical masterclass". What's really tactical about being so scared of a side that you cower and put 11 men behind the ball?

    1) I'll hold you to that - we'll finish above you and at least I'll enjoy watching my team play football week in week out. Get used to those "tactical master classes" while they bore you to tears...

    2) Lallana and Lovren are excellent buys - just because they wouldn't apparently get in your side, doesn't mean they aren't vital players for us. Stop being elitist towards players in a team that is currently doing better than you.

    3) I said RECENT years, not dating back to when we bought Carroll...

    4) Your spending is abysmal. You fork out hundreds of millions every year in the desperate hope that you can compensate for losing SAF. All the while you still maintain the notion that you should have the right to win trophies without actually playing well enough to attain them.
If you don't win a competition, you didn't wanna be in it anyway right?

Because Klopp was playing against a team worth over £150m who are supposedly challenging for the title, not some relegation/mid table dross that we should be beating as we have done against Hull and Swansea. It's not like this was Klopps strongest XI either.
