I don't envy you having to do DB lunges - hate them! Such a boring, annoying movement. :tongue:

Very solid DB OHP!
Recovery was shocking the last few days, sleep has been fine in quantity but not quality... however gains were to be had.

Couldn't regular OHP today due to a guy benching.. more about him later. Also my left knee is swollen from leg extensions still so I skipped my leg work :frown:

The guy benched 115kg for 7 x 3 today. Then I shared the dipping station with him... he had 75kg on his belt and he did sets of 3 and 5 for 5 sets.. and he's natty. Beast.

There is a natty guy in my gym who hit a 220kg squat for 3 reps the other day... He's black though, so you know.... Half natty.

Massive legs right there! I think the guy I was working with has a squat 1rm of about 220kg, I'll ask him next time I see him. He weight 83kg as well.. I'm at 86-87 kg.. I feel pathetic :lol:

Nightmare to clean but I can finally rep them out. Fresh I reckon I've got 5 in me

Feel terrible today, I think I'm getting sick or I'm drastically undereating, just so tired despite sleeping alright. I should have had 92.5kg for 3x5 and more but such weak feels.

I shouldn't be complaining a session with 3 PBs... but I could have had much better PBs on another day!

Knee still sore :frown:

100kg in like 8 weeks I think, not going to be doing much lifting over Easter due to home gyms being dreadful

Cheers, not a bad bench for 6 months training I think :smile: I was far from a beast today, I was wobbly, my form was breaking, I felt dreadful.. all cured by a whole pizza.. who'd have thought lol

Have you found anything that's okay on your knees yet? Might just be that you have to take a couple of weeks out before getting back to things like the leg extensions.

It'll be fine in 3 or 4 days I think, it's still swollen as I've run on it more than once playing ultimate frisbee (don't hate, it's good cardio :tongue: ) I've rested it for 3 days and the swelling is almost gone.
Have you only been lifting 6 months? I've nearly been lifting 6 months and I only bench 50kg :///

Yeh but only started eating properly since mid-January. Prefer using dumbbells now though and I'm currently doing 22.5kg (4x7)

No I lifted for a few months and had a PB of 60kg for 1 x 5 on DB bench which is nothing, I never squatted to depth and I had never deadlifted when I stopped. I trained for a marathon for 6 months, I did no weight training of any kind. I have been lifting for 6 months.
