I don't envy you having to do DB lunges - hate them! Such a boring, annoying movement.

Expect to see constant PBs now after all that squat success.

Constant PBs crew

Bench
20kg 1 x 5
40kg 1 x 3
60kg 1 x 3
80kg 1 x 3
85kg 1 x 2
90kg 1 x 1
92.5kg 3 x 3 PB First 2 unspotted, last one spotted. Last rep of last set was grindy, spotter may have touched it, might not have.

DB OHP
15kg DBs 1 x 5
25kg DBs 3 x 8 PB A set, rep PB is a small but significant PB to have

Cable flys
level 5 1 x 8
level 8 3 x 8 PB? Damn hard to get into position, but once in position, light weight

Curlz
15kg DBs 1 x 10 PB
17.5kg DBs 2 x 5 PB?

DB facepulls
15kg DBs 3 x 8

Knee is really swollen from leg extensions yesterday.. time to drop them I think.. will have to see what I can do for my quads instead

Recovery was shocking the last few days, sleep has been fine in quantity but not quality... however gains were to be had.

Couldn't regular OHP today due to a guy benching.. more about him later. Also my left knee is swollen from leg extensions still so I skipped my leg work

Chin ups
BW 1 x 5
+10kg 2 x 4
1 x 3
+5kg 1 x 3
BW 1 x 3

DB OHP
10kg DBs 1 x 8
15kg DBs 1 x 5
25kg DBs 2 x 10 PB
1 x 9 Just couldn't grind the last rep out

Curlz
10kg DBs 1 x 8
17.5kg DBs 1 x 4 lol
15kg DBs 2 x 6

Dips
+20kg 5 x 5 PB I can dip a lot more, but shoulders were knackered, might start doing 5 x 5 for them on my non bench day

Cable rows
level 12 1 x 8
level 14 3 x 10 PB?

Got GN sample packs.. blueberry cheesecake is beautiful

The guy benched 115kg for 7 x 3 today. Then I shared the dipping station with him... he had 75kg on his belt and he did sets of 3 and 5 for 5 sets.. and he's natty. Beast.

There is a natty guy in my gym who hit a 220kg squat for 3 reps the other day... He's black though, so you know.... Half natty.

Massive legs right there! I think the guy I was working with has a squat 1rm of about 220kg, I'll ask him next time I see him. He weight 83kg as well.. I'm at 86-87 kg.. I feel pathetic

Bench
20kg 1 x 5
40kg 1 x 5
60kg 1 x 5
80kg 1 x 5
90kg 1 x 1
92.5kg 1 x 4(5) PB
1 x 5 PB
1 x 4(5)
I had an "it's all you" moment on the in bracket reps, I might have been able to lock them out but my spotter was all over the bar
Might move up next time depending on how I feel.

DB bench for volume
40kg DBs 3 x 4

Pullups
BW 1 x 5
+ 5kg 3 x 3 PB
BW 1 x 3

DB OHP
30kg DBs 1 x 3 PB
1 x 1
Nightmare to clean but I can finally rep them out. Fresh I reckon I've got 5 in me

Feel terrible today, I think I'm getting sick or I'm drastically undereating, just so tired despite sleeping alright. I should have had 92.5kg for 3x5 and more but such weak feels.

I shouldn't be complaining a session with 3 PBs... but I could have had much better PBs on another day!

Knee still sore

Cheers

100kg in like 8 weeks I think, not going to be doing much lifting over Easter due to home gyms being dreadful

Cheers, not a bad bench for 6 months training I think I was far from a beast today, I was wobbly, my form was breaking, I felt dreadful.. all cured by a whole pizza.. who'd have thought lol

Hoping for a beastly OHP on Friday

Still heavier than me.

Have you found anything that's okay on your knees yet? Might just be that you have to take a couple of weeks out before getting back to things like the leg extensions.

It'll be fine in 3 or 4 days I think, it's still swollen as I've run on it more than once playing ultimate frisbee (don't hate, it's good cardio ) I've rested it for 3 days and the swelling is almost gone.

Yeh but only started eating properly since mid-January. Prefer using dumbbells now though and I'm currently doing 22.5kg (4x7)

No toblerone, not for a good 5+ weeks anyway. I'm dieting, no chocolate for me.

I'm natty. YoutubeNatty

No I lifted for a few months and had a PB of 60kg for 1 x 5 on DB bench which is nothing, I never squatted to depth and I had never deadlifted when I stopped. I trained for a marathon for 6 months, I did no weight training of any kind. I have been lifting for 6 months.
