    Slow TOT with a 1second hold at the bottom for the stretch and a 1 second hold and squeeze at the top for the contraction.

    Somebody tried to sell me creatine in the gym earlier. Not "creatine", actual creatine... LOL. He isn't a member, he is some street druggy, he just walked into the gym, onto the gym floor, and started trying to sell people some creatine tablets. Top lols.

    Tried to work legs, failed.

    Incline leg press(plate loaded) -
    200kg X 10, 8, 6

    Leg extensions -
    70kg X 12, 11, 10, 8

    /Session. Had to lay down for 15mins on a yoga mat because my lower back was so sore.

    **I know I shouldn't really openly talk about gear use, however I feel on this occasion it's medical, therefore I'm going to**

    I've been having real bad pumps in my lower back lately. I think I need to drink more water, although I'm drinking loads already, so that is going to be tricky. I know the pumps are some what self inflicted through gear use, although I'm not using orals, which are often the real culprit. I seem to suffer more than anybody I've read about, which I think is down to having underlying back problems. Even when I was only taking 500mg test per week, I got major back pumps at times, even though I was incredibly hydrated, taking lots of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes, plus supplementing in extra potassium and taurine.

    Had sciatica when I was younger, and it's left damage of some sort. Scar tissue? Sacroiliac joint problems? Something is definitely up. I have a permanent large muscle knot in my lower right back, have done since I was probably 14. I've managed to get rid of it a few times, and within a day it's back. Plus, if I lift my right leg up, and rotate it outwards, doing a sort of groin opening stretch, my lower back clicks, every time. It's not a click like the knuckles, where you click them once and that's it... If I do it 30 times in a row, it clicks 30 times. I don't think that is a very good sign.

    I think it's a case of my lower back being very weak and being the weak link in the chain. Now that I'm upping the weights and training harder it's just giving out and getting pumped stupidly easily.

    To put it in perspective, I got a crazy painful lower back pump doing dumbbell presses the other day, the action of 'kicking up' the dumbbells was enough to give me lower back pump... What the ****. Then it got pumped to the point of being in agony just from walking around at work, bending down and reaching for things on shelves.

    I think I'm going to have to go to the doctors about it, the combination of some underlying problem coupled with being susceptible to back pumps is just getting too much now.

    You ain't the only one with a ****ed lower back, I'm natty yet I get pumps that are crippling... I snapped my **** up whilst undergoing chemo - 2 MRI's later and me being dosed to my eye balls in painkillers and they found a 1mm by 1mm lesion which they had no idea what it was.... however 3.5 years later I still have a sore back/ muscle knot, rotation of hips, deadlifting and long distance running (ran a marathon with a knot in my back lol) all add to the pain... After Mondays deadlift "session" I spent yesterday with ibprofen such was the back pain and the pump after the session had me lying down.
    I'm going to the doctors on Saturday cause **** this for a life
