I think I got that cause my 2p=10/3
I agree with this
2. (Original post by jtebbbs)
Cause everyone's coming on to talk about Core 1 mate
Lucky them. I'll take C1 anyday over this ****.
3. (Original post by Qcomber)
Part a 3 marks
Part b 4 marks
Well thank god I made a bloody error in integration of x^-7 lmao
Probably got 1 mark for doing limit procedure but well FML C3 integration by parts error😅
(Original post by jjsnyder)
I haven't had internet and struggled with the paper, so I doubt I'll be able to do a markscheme, but I will upload my answers later if no one else does

Well makes me feel better to hear a STEPper found it difficult but I'm sorry to hear that too..
4. anybody get c and d as 36 and 20? and get the translation as a vector (4,0)?
5. Yes that's right
6. What do you lot think the grade boundaries will be from A* to U?
7. (Original post by Xzielon)
I don't remember much because my brain is fried now but some of that looks roughly like my answers
Damn... I got 3/2 as a coefficient at some stage, did anyone else?
8. Yes that's right
9. (Original post by Xzielon)

I reckon similar to 2014
10. (Original post by Xzielon)
What do you lot think the grade boundaries will be from A* to U?
A* probably gonna be something like 64-66
A 59/60
B 54

1. Ae^5x/2 - 2x - 4/5

2. 5/3, 8/5

3. Approximation: 2.081, 2.080

4. c=36, d=20, traslate 4 across

5. 0.5x^2 +3x +ln(x+1) +1

6. 1/36

7. I got my constants wrong but I believe this is correct: y= 2cos2x - 1/2(e^pi)sin2x + 1/2(e^4x) + xSin2x - 2xcos2x

8. (1/2)ln3 - 1/2

roast me

yeah I agree with this lad

fully I think

I put ln(root3) in stead of the simplified bit for the lastone but it's the same number innit

cheers jdmason

I owe you a beer

12. **** they're going to have to invent a new grade for me. S for special. It's lower than a U and you need to somehow get negative marks. But seriously, I'll be lucky with a C here.

Thank god someone agrees! and yeah its same thing
17. That was definitely a tough paper, at least compared to previous years. They deliberately tried to make every question harder than usual unlike last couple of years where only one or two were made harder than usual.

That said, I think I got everything right except that I made a REALLY stupid mistake in the numerical methods bit, using x=1.1 instead of x=0.1... I checked this like three times as well...
