I've been doing the same thing. The first time i did it i saw 'Accepted' next to my firm, freaked out, and then realised it only said 'Conditional Offer (Firmly accepted)' :facepalm2:
Ahhh really, thats not happened to me, but my heart always starts to beat like crazy when I start scrolling down the page to see if anythings changed .
I think I'd pass out if it said unconditional next to my firm

Does anyone have a login for the Edexcel June 13 mark schemes? I need History and English Lit...or should I not bother and stay nervous for Thursday?
There's a link to all the mark schemes in this thread:

I think some of it must be an 'admin charge' for the office's effort or something then... I guess the higher price does discourage people from retaking everything loads though, which is a good thing...
Practical coursework can be retaken as much as you want as long as your teacher agrees (i.e. only occasionally, and then only once...), I was more talking about practical exams like for dance/ drama/ PE/ language oral exams, where an external examiner must come in specially for you/ the school has to record it + send it off + have it marked specially (i.e. more effort than for normal exams).
I think it must vary a lot depending on the school - for some people resits are free (some of my friends who go to other schools/ go to my school but come from a disadvantaged background so wouldn't be able to afford them) whereas for others we are charged loads. :dontknow:
yea I was thinking admin charge as well, nearly double the price just for admin is crazy  Hmmm yea thats true, a retake could be the difference between your firm and insurance though, I think it's best left to the individual candidate to decide if they want to resit rather than trying to influence their decision.
Ohhh fair enough, yea that makes sense. For science practicals its just one cost.
Hmm yea seems different at different schools then

    A "haunting" I guess...

It's the faces that pop out, I have quite a vivid imagination and I'll literally see the faces at night in real life

The trailer itself scared me  imagine that in a dark cinema with loud sounds... It's jumpy!

I've only done my as levels this year but still eager to get my exam results just as a piece of mind, however my college has decided that although they receive them on Thursday the 15th they're going to make the as students wait till Monday the 19th to give us our results! Argh it's so annoying when everyone I know will have already got there's and going to collect my results just won't have the same buzz about it

Are they doing that with A2 students as well? Or just AS? Because if they're doing it with A2 then that's stupid, those students might need those results for ringing up universities if they go into clearing...

That must be the most frustrating thing in the world, especially when 90% of students get it on the 15th. personally, I wouldn't stand still. I'd hold a protest with the other students or complain or something. And why don't you guys get it on Friday instead of Monday?

I felt like a dork when i did it! And i know, i might just die on the spot if i got my results, which would make it kinda pointless in the end

    Where've you applied to?

    Ah, man!
That is absolute disrespect at its highest...

The sheet laughter I share to think that my school cannot even stunt like so - we're the top year in the school, meaning the first year of entry so this is as important as everything right now!

    LOL!
I hope you smash yours so the relief is ever so sweeter on the 19th for you!
