Nothing is odd. I'm still asking for us to be civil.
So now you're asking? Ok, for the record my responses will be as civil as the question demands.

I don't have two votes nor do I want two. In fact, as can be confirmed by our newest MP I discussed with them very recently the possibility of my relinquishing my MP seat in their favour as other leaders have done.
I can confirm this is true.

RayApparently as I'm sure you know I'm very impatient so, do you accept that you can't win this vonc? If so would it not be easier on all of us if you officially left government so we can sort out a stable government quickly?

I don't see why we need to until we've decided where we're going next.

This government is now arguably a lot stabler than it was a couple of days ago, and there is nothing stopping other parties producing legislation as they have been doing.

Does it really matter that much whether we have a new government tomorrow, next week or in two weeks' time?

Well if you are going to lose (which you seem to be on track to do) what's the point in holding on for a few extra days? It just seems pointless.

Plus I dislike uncertainty so I would rather it's next week

We can have a plan as to what we're going to do next, including the right as PM to call a GE, should that be the option taken.

should that happen I would, and I'm sure the rest of the house would, petition the speaker to stop that as it's too soon and will only damage the house.

Why? It's two months since we last had one, we're a third of the way through term, and that right is protected by the Constitution, so only the CT can stop it happening.

It's not even 2 months. Not yet anyway.

And the CT should as IMO it would be spam

The RL GE was two months ago on Tuesday, which means our election ended two months ago on Wednesday.

And it would hardly be spam, it's not like we're having elections on a weekly basis.

It should have ended on the 8th, were it not for some problems with the voting.

No, the voting was extended for 3 days after the GE...
