Maths is maths, it won't differ much from board to board. I don't think there is much overlap between M1 and M2 but some is done in AS Physics.

What topics are you studying?(Did you cover them at GCSE?)
I am studying Rivers,Population,Coasts and Energy and of course Geographical Skills.I studied Coasts in Unit 1 at GCSE and got 100% UMS and I studied Energy as part of my coursework and I got 100% raw marks for the topic but I only got an A at Geography GCSE.I didn't study Rivers and Population at GCSE.

Where are you going on your fieldtrip?
I am going to the Blencathra Field Studies Centre in the Lake District and apparently the top floor is haunted and the building use to be used as a hospital for tuberculosis sufferers I think. The total cost of the trip last year was £98, with students having to pay half of it-I wonder if it goes up due to inflation next year.I'm going in the February Half Term though so that means I will miss out on a week off in February, which isn't ideal but is necessary so it doesn't interfere with my other subjects.

What topics are you studying?(Did you cover them at GCSE?)
For human geography I'm studying population and health, and for physical I'm studying rivers and coasts. We didn't cover any of those at GCSE, though I studied rivers and population lower down in the school, and we did a bit of work on population as part of globalisation last year.

Where are you going on your fieldtrip?
I'm off to the south coast in spring to do the fieldwork prep, and we're also going on a handful of other trips to help us with the other topics.

I finally know my GCSE results, an exact average of B's :colonhash: Onwards to A levels and solid A*'s, and if I kill myself in the process then oh well!

Sixth form seems good so far, and my subjects don't seem too hard, Math C1 has sequences and Economics has news of the week Computing classwork even includes actively blogging! This should be a breeze (I bet I've spoken WAY too soon).

Ahh I did it at GCSE so I'm really looking forward to starting it at AS! Let me know how the double goes I just had a little look on my college's moodle and it looks like I am doing the family module, along with culture identity and socialisation.

My college uses Moodle too. Did you have to log in at college before you log in at home? Because I'm trying to log on but it's not working.
