The christmas episode looks entertaining and comedic but it doesn't look like a good episode of Doctor Who and it is hard to take Santa seriously because I think I have seen Nick Frost in too many films/shows and can see under the image of Santa Claus.

Nah I can't be bothered, I kind of get what's going on now. There's a funny Scottish guy with this assistant who's a little annoying and they go all over the galaxy doing stuff I have way too much schoolwork to catch up now :dontknow:

Nooo you really have to watch series 1-4. Those were brilliant and you're truly missing out if you don't watch those. Whether Matt Smith's run as the Doctor was good is debatable, so you can choose to drop those if you want.

*snip* even though for Doctor Who, I simply went out to get the boxed sets because they were so good.
You can watch them when you're on a break from school or something, since you're busy right now. My friends and I are planning to marathon all of NuWho after our A Levels end in two weeks!
psst... Linking to sites like that isn't allowed, so you might want to remove it before a mod sees it :wink2:

This most recent series was pretty good. Certainly better than Series 7.

Clara actually felt like a character this time, and not just a plot device. Also, Peter Capaldi is pretty awesome so far.

Saw 'A Christmas Carol' (Doctor Who version) on TV last night. I reckon it's the best Doctor Who Christmas episode by an absolute mile.

This really has just stolen the villains from Alien... referencing it doesn't make that fine and not ridiculously lazy.

Christmas film (Alien) - ignoring that it's not a christmas film, how meta does it need to be?
