Good things that happened on the ward today:

    - starting clozapine tonight yay
    - saw the doctor who said I can go out by myself (but then retracted after speaking to CCO, more escorted then by myself hopefully soon)
    - no longer threatened with section
    - got my chargers back so can now stay on laptop all day if I want to!

Speaking to uni MH advisor tomorrow about extensions as will be here for another 2-3 weeks.
Yay, that sounds really good :hugs: Very happy for you!

BUT i managed to phone up and book my MH assesment and he was all appologetic about the waiting list, so i was expecting months, nope 29th November
But also now freaking as the last one i had they said it would take about an hour, they said this will take about 2. Wonder if its more in depth than the one i had under Bath MH service

Just realised I'm not sure that I said I'm back from my retreat

Thanks for all the postivity and support regarding it! It was a bit scary and overwhelming at points but I'm back intact and unscathed, so that's the main thing :king1:

They said my original assessment would be 2 hours. It was only one hour. The only time I have had a 2 hour assessment was with a psychiatrist in Northern Ireland, in 2015.

Got to dissect a sheep eye today. Was pretty good fun. (did brain last week) :woo:

Although that's my last lab for this semester - now all I gotta do is get at least 75% on the lab exam and 75% on the lecture exam to get the C I need to finally pass this class. Which I'm really, really sure is going to happen. :nothing:

You're within your rights to ask for a female assessor if they have one. It may take a bit longer but if having a female assessor would help at all with your giving them all the info they need, or making you more comfortable, then it would be worth asking

That sounds difficult, especially when it's not your typical mental illnesses - I imagine finding the right treatment is even harder!

I have to go see my lecturer today about my crappy essay, so she can give me tips etc. However, I have finally brought myself to read through it, and there is a problem: I actually don't recognise about 70% of the essay. I can see how **** it is too, and yet I don't remember writing the majority of it. And that scares me because it just shows how badly ill I am right now.

That's really god that she's going to give you some tips!

It's totally normal to not recognize your own essay, when did you write it?
