Arteta could have retired in the summer and nobody would have noticed

    Same with Rosicky

Rosicky still has novelty value. He has one or two MOTM performances in him over the season

Coq out for the season looks increasingly likely. Well our season is gone

Whos to say that there isn't another kid in the reserves/on loan who comes in and does a job? If someone had said this time last year that Francis Coquelin would be a key member of the Arsenal first team you'd have called for the men in white coats. It's like suggesting that Yaya Sanogo will be your first choice striker in a years time.

Your upcoming fixtures are hardly the worst either. Flamini is more than enough for Norwich, Zagreb, Sunderland, Olympiacos and Villa.

He's out for 3 months minimum, not 6 fixtures.

Chances of winning the league are now over unfortunately, unless as sr mentioned we have another player in reserve who can have the same effect Coquelin had last season. Bielik? Probably not. We'll have to try and stay in it till January and then Wenger will have 0 excuses for not buying.

And 3 months in Arsenal terms is actually 5-6 months minimum.

Couldn't be helped though. Not like anybody was suggesting we should buy a DM all last summer, right?

Flamini'll get send off in the first ten mins of the game against Zagreb - he's overdue a red.

Don't worry you have Welbeck to come back soon

Incredible how he hasn't been injured until now.

Can't wait for Ramsey and Wilshere to return, only for Ozil to smash his knee and Cech to break his arm the next week.

    It's a never ending circle.

Our injury record is what stops us winning the league tbh, absolutely dreadful record. It is depressing.

Don't forget that this never-ending cycle of injuries could be another reason why every summer we're missing out on players. (except cast-offs)
The really "potentially good" players don't want to come here because they'll get injured (and this club doesn't have a vision).

Yeah, just imagine what our team would be like if we had our key players consistently. We might as well just rename ourselves "Arsenal Second String FC" because we get reduced to those bare bones every season, for large parts of the season. It is terrible, Wilshere and Welbeck, I don't even remember the last time they played.

No Coquelin means we're ****ed, no one is going to fill that gap.
