Hmm...maybe you're right.
Well here is a list...

1. I've got a terrible headache and it won't budge. Taken cocodamol, drunk LOADS of water, had a nap and been on a walk and it's still here.

2. I went on a 5 mile walk and all the way I just kept thinking I was an idiot and the most idiotic person in the world.

3. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing in leaving uni.

4. I don't want to move back home because of the stress and everything that comes with homelife.

5. Scott couldn't come to my leaving do last night as his friends couldn't get into the place we were at because they didn't have ID. So he said we'd do something today. I text him and he hasn't replied. I know his friends from home are here this weekend but he said that didn't matter. I'm never going to see him again and that really upsets me.

6. I need to pack but I don't know where to start.

7. I won't be able to get a job, I can just tell.

8. Don't have a referree for UCAS.

End of list.

1. Headaches come and go-ride it out and eat some ice cream
2. Did he think you were an idiot though, someone wouldn't go on a 5mile walk if they thought you were an idiot!
3. Then think about it- the best thing i've done is leave uni, PM me if you want a chat about dropping out
4. You don't have to move back home, a nice job and cheap flat can be no problem
5. This is something you have no control over, try writing him an email?
6. Start with the stuff in the right hand corner of your room!
7. You will, but you won't if you don't try
8. Don't have a referree now, but you soon will..school, ex-lecturers, even friends and family can be used in extreme circumstances

1. I might go and buy some Ben and Jerrys - thanks for the idea!
2. I went on my own and I was thinking I'm an idiot just for messing up my life.
3. I've thought about it. I'm not enjoying my course but I feel as if I'm giving up and am lowering my standards and that's something I've never done before.
4. I suggested moving out to my Mum and she flipped out. She said she'd disown me if I moved out of the family home because it was an unforgiveable, evil thing to do.
5. Yeah, maybe. Just a bit upset because I'll miss him.
6. I'll try that idea. Need to fish my suitcase out and boxes.
7. I'll try but I have no experience and it'll just be a repeat of the summer...no one will want me
8. School have said they won't give me a reference which is why I'm stuck.

Thanks for replying :hugs:

You know what, im going to get some ben and jerrys aswell and finish off a bottle of wine. - as long as you do it too, add that to watching a bit off bridget jones and you're set for an instant cheer-up

Why do your parents feel this way, religion? it sound unfair really- moving out can be the best thing you can do, and make you, you- through independance, denying that is unfair.

That was the summer..this is now
Why won't your school give you a reference? keep pestering.

Just found the chocolate gateau I bought earlier this week in the freezer. It's defrosting at the minute so will eat that later. (not all of it!)

School won't give me a reference because I want to do Music Management and I don't have A Levels in Music or Business, I have 3 A Levels in Science. I've tried to explain that they don't ask for specific subjects, they just ask for points, but no one will listen

------------

I can't cry anymore. I've felt like crying for hours but the tears just don't fall So stupid, I really am. I get so upset over life. It's not worth it.

I don't know what to do anymore. I hate this, I really hate it. I just opened a drawer for no reason and then the thought crossed my mind of opening a drawer, getting a load of tablets and taking the lot of them. But I don't have anything to take so I'm not going to do that. I don't even know why I'm like this. sorry

supposed to be going out tonight, planned it all week and no one's contacted me or replied to texts or messages. So looks like i won't be going out to what sounded like a totally awesome night.

maybe its for the best, i get so suicidal in the evening and if im drinking. plus i should probably get some work in tomorrow morning. and im tired (but im always tired) and it's cold out. still disappointed though. feel like ive wasted 1/3 of my time at oxford that i promised id make the most of and get stuck in with everything because i was only here a year. **** knows what ill do when i leave, work in mcdonalds and live at home or something equally tragic and uninspiring.

I hate it when that happens. I was meant to be seeing Scott today and he hasn't replied to my text either. Really upset about it actually as I could do with his cheeky grin and cuddles to cheer me up. I could be at Thanksgiving Dinner with neighbours but I can't afford the £6 the girl is charging so I'm sat in my room, on my own listening to the most depressing music ever feeling like ****.

You won't end up working in McDonalds! You'll find you're far too qualified to work in McDonalds! What degree do you have and what one are you doing now? You'll do really well in life, I can tell...Oxbridge graduate...everyone will want you

I know, but I hate having to pretend. They know nothing of my Brum life, it's all a web of lies with things I have to remember just waiting to get tripped up on. I wish they'd have listened, but they didn't.
