Solid half, disappointed that the urgency has dropped since Cesc's departure, should look to put them out of sight before they have a chance to threaten.

Stoke have done nothing and just let us have the ball but we still haven't actually created much. Lack the tempo and incisiveness to really create.
Still waiting for news on Cesc.

I'm being forced to say it again: I hope this isn't another one of those days...

I'd say we're just about screwed if they equalize.

EDIT: Unless they do it extremely early in the second half.

Cesc Fabregas may be a doubt for Sunday's Carling Cup final with Birmingham, after suffering a suspected knee injury on Wednesday

Didn't look like that but who knows.

I'll stick by my nervy 2-1 prediction; ideally, we would win by more than a three-goal margin, taking our goal-difference above United's.

We're not sure yet. The fact that he's been taken of implies that it's quite bad, the fact that he walked off the pitch implies that it's not. :dontknow:

Think we should put Arshavin as AMC and move Nasri out left. I don't think he really plays well down the centre.

EDIT: SSN saying it was precautionary (although not saying a precaution for what).

I just realized that after today's game, we'll be level on games played with City and Tottenham; if we win, we'll be 7 and 9 points ahead of them (respectfully).

For our upcoming fixture congestion, surely? I.e. As a precaution against him not being able to play in it.

"Pulis fired up his team" They're trying to kill us f**kin mugs.

Everyone seems to be agreeing Cesc was taken off for a "slight knee twist." Imagine that's just short term then and some swelling?

              EDIT: @ above yeah
