Surely the team deserves support though? The players don't have a say in this.

The players know more than at nearly any other club that they have our support. They aren't thick, they'll understand that us being outside the ground doesn't mean we don't support them.

On a related note, we did this display for Jerome Wright before and after the game on Tuesday night for his 350th appearance (that's me third from right on the lower banner): https://www.facebook.com/fctifo/phot...323662/?type=3

I get that but having the physical support in the ground makes a difference. The emptiness we had at Sixfields on a recurring basis showed that. It will almost be like a home game for Chesterfield.

QPR have sacked Chris Ramsey and bring back the man who got them promoted (in 2011).

Only need another two sackings for Kick It Out to make a big fuss yet again...
Neil Warnock will make a different kind of fuss, whilst a black manager may get a team in the Premier League this season, whose team is undefeated.

Honestly? The FC United haven't competed at this level before and its completely new territory for them. This should be a year of learning for the club. Relegation would hurt but they should understand this season wont be easy. Are the owners messing around it something?

The proposed boycott is to do with the fixture being moved to Monday night for TV, nothing to do with the run of form. The idea is to come in en masse at half time with anti-BT banners after making lots of noise outside the ground.
There is an illegal way to solve the problem, not that I would advocate it. Cut the local communications link, and knowing how long BT take to fix any fault, it won't be ready for Monday.

No Hughton? He took a side from near the bottom of the League to joint first with roughly half the net spend in the transfer window of Paul Clement.

I would add Chris Martin to potential POTY contenders.

Feel sorry for Salford City fans unable to get a ticket this weekend, owing to the BBC coverage and hype surrounding the Class of 92's partial ownership.

Have to agree about Chris Martin.

Notts County poor this evening, as much as Salford City played well.

He is the second best player in the league, behind Downing.

Big win for Forest. I thought their concentration after taking that early lead was fantastic. Derby were on such a positive run - ten unbeaten! - so you have to give Freedman full credit for masterminding that win.

Shame to see fans invade the pitch at full-time. No need for it.

I think Arsenal were expected to win the final and Reading to beat Bradford in the quarter final replay last season.

Liverpool-Wimbledon and Liverpool-Bolton both last season were on BBC, too.

I meant the first and second round when the PL, Championship teams are yet to enter; it seems every match the BBC televises in those rounds end in a cup shock
