    Excellent, thanks
I have just myself asked for an update regarding how things are going with getting the mass PM out with the admin I was in discussions with pre-election, so hopefully we'll see it soon.

For the attention of everyone: I think it is clear now that we will need a poll extension. I have decided to extend the poll by four days to Monday evening. If I deem it that a further extension is needed at any point then I will get this done but I'm playing it by ear for now.

Admittedly, I think I really should have used my power to delay the election until after Easter because it has clearly affected things very negatively and I should have forseen this - but to be completely honest, it never crossed my mind that it would be a problem, I don't care for Easter (I eat chocolate every day) and see it as more of a five week period where I'm off than a specific weekend and I apologise for that. I quite literally forgot about it really. But hopefully with a poll extension and a mass PM things should be okay and we'll get a reasonable turnout. If anyone has any questions or requests then please raise them either via PM, in my questions thread or in here. Thank you.
Wise decision there and it wasn't your fault either. Slightly envious of the chocolate though.

Thank you, though I do think I probably should have taken it into consideration more, but even on the day it took me until about 5PM to realise it was Easter Sunday

And yes, sometimes I do eat a little bit too much of it That being said, most of the times these days it's just a very small nibble as a treat. Lost a good three stone or so when I cut out popcorn and reduced chocolate. Never looked back.

I think that a bit of an overreaction, the mass PM only went out about 3 days before the end of the last election.

It's now Wednesday, the poll would close on Thursday. The earliest the mass PM will go out is after 9am this morning, which leaves less than 48 hours. I think 4 days is a bit too long an extension, but an extension is clearly needed.

I understand your reservations but we're now on the penultimate day of the election and still have no mass PM. We have no guarantee that it will even go out tomorrow.

If the poll were not extended then we might end up having a window of 24 hours or less (assuming the earliest the PM can go up is this [April 3rd] evening). We might even end up without a mass PM in that window. I don't think that's a good enough time for most people to vote and since we'll be stuck with this result for six months, I think it is important that we get it right and make it legitimate.

I would say I am in a similar, from the sounds of things not quite as bad but nonetheless similar position to you

However, I used to think the same as you, but one statement changed my mind I think ill let you mellow over it as well

Do the healthy deserve better healthcare?
That's a complete non-sequitur. Whilst I don't want to compare being academically non-capable with being ill, should a healthy person be forced to risk their health by being in a room with people with contagious illnesses? The better healthcare (in your analogy) comes not from any unfair allocation of resources, but through simply being around 'healthy' people.

What makes the Conservative Party unique is that we occupy probably the largest social spectrum in the House from the libertarian to the more traditional social conservative, of being pro-EU and anti-EU whilst at the same time retaining a core economic center of the moderate right.
So in other words, you're a divided party who aren't sure what to stand for.

    :nothing:
I don't agree with this at all, you should ask those running if they wish to see an extension and I got no PM asking me about it thus I am against it. You cannot change the rules of the game halfway through.

So basically you don't have a clear view on everything? You can't all agree

We agree on practically everything, from education to healthcare; the economy to defence. Pretty much the only thing we have multiple viewpoints on is the EU.
