That's a bit sodding rich coming from you when you posted the exact same bit of news last night in the exact same way!!

Get off your high horse, you're just as sensationalist and it was me who told you to pack it in and stop being silly by mentioning the mine depths you now happily reel off as if it was your own information. Don't dare have a go at someone else for doing the exact same moronic thing you did.
Moronic thing? I suppose you've got your own earthquake depth meter stationed in east Russia have you? Or are you unaware that countries sometimes don't put their secret military plans in newspapers and have been known to bend the truth in times of war?

Feel free to list the number of countries who've ever dug deeper than 4km to be able to do *anything* at a depth of 560+km.

The USGS is backed up by countless national laboratories who all feed data in and any reporting of something like this would be backed up and verified by several sources. In order to be certain of a location it have had to be triangulated from at least 3 recording devices anyway. If it had been a cover up it was one of massive proportions and the story would never be kept secret for more than a few hours before some scientist somewhere said something.

The notion that this incident is anything other than a natural event is entirely laughable.

Hey... I thought I deleted that post. :holmes:

I subsequently pondered over my post and realised that this picture-swapping was harmless and would not bring the ire of the Mods as it isn't me posting them as the OP and then I deleted it - but lo and behold, it's still here and you've just quoted it!

I myself am not saying that it was anything other than a natural event - I was merely making neutral observations.

For example, another neutral observation - on that same day, there was another large earthquake, this time up in Siberia.

Theres hardly anything about the Chinese military buildup of tanks, presumably there so they can use the guns to fire food into NK for the refugees, and and thousands of people can see it.

Considering you originally said "Not sure if this is anything to do with North Korea....(but may just be natural and coincidental):
It's still quite far from North Korea, so I doubt it's actually got anything to do with them..." (before a hasty edit) that's not all that clear. You clearly originally thought the two could be linked. Or you wouldn't have posted it at all.

You mean aside from all the reports in basically every media outlet globally of China's Army being mobilised all along the NK border?

Yeah, other than those many stories there's nothing been mentioned about China at all.

North Korea is a good example of modern socialism

I bet the communists belted out all the nice ideas of communism to the people before they ended up taking power.

Socialism/Communism definitely the way forward guys!

On a serious note, its all trashtalk, NK have the world against them, as everyone knows what theyre doing is insanely dumb, too early for China to support them as they still dont have complete economic dominance, so China has to openly oppose them.

Trying to imagine the endgame for Kim Jong Un, South Korea is a leading technological capitalist country that turds on all of the North in every mean, and has little crime at all.

I cant seem to define Kim in any other word but Stupid.

Look at the BBC report I posted. "Nothing unusual here at the China NK border". Interesting China has denied its happening and our media seems to be taking Chinas "no, stop it, don't" to NK more seriously that the prescience of their army. Evidently both sides are wanting to play down the scale of the potential conflict and Russia's warning shot was a message for governments, not for us.

he'd never do it unless he's suicidal: it would be korea against the rest of the world. Even if they hit America (which they won't) retaliation will come from all directions and will be terrible. He's not stupid enough to risk that, and even if he were his politicians and advisors would never let him
