Wenger seems to rate him, he often speak very highly of him. I think his versatility, excellent attitude, physical attributes appeals to Wenger more so than the likes of Podolski can offer.

Doubt he'll be sold under Wenger tbh
He speaks highly of most of his own players. He said all three goalkeepers we currently have are world class when asked about Cech which you know is utter *******s so either A he's deluded or B he's making these statements as a cover up, the same applies to Welbeck.

Difference is with the goalkeepers only 1 can actually play whereas Welbeck has had lots of gametime under Wenger. Wenger is the football expert you have to respect his decisions, ultimately his judgement will be in May 2017 I don't think Wenger himself will continue if there isn't league medal......In the end time will tell. I often think back to the abuse Rasmey and Giroud got tbh

Can't you see the man is building a strong squad, he's doing it in a intelligent and subtle way. I don't care what anybody says Welbeck at £16M was incredibly smart business, he's a great addition to the squad. He'll improve under Wenger.
This is what you call a Wenger fanboy

If Wenger continues to buy one £30m+ player each summer then I'm not complaining, Our squad is more complete than it has been in years.

A new striker like Higuain would be sweet.

You mean like Arsenal being unable to consistently beat any of their man rivals because psycologically they are always going into one of the games knowing what's happened in the past? Fair enough if you disagree with that, but it's more than just luck, tactical knowledge and to some extent squad strength that Arsenal have only won 2 games in their last 17 against Manchester United going back to 08/09, and 4 wins against Chelsea in 20 going back to the 06/07 season.
