Hilarious how Oyston has won money after fans libelled him on a discussion forum. Be careful what you say on TSR, folks.

You are now down, what league are Dulwich in these days?
Riding high in the Ryman Premier at the moment, we shall see if we can keep our momentum going and get promoted this season.

Curbishley reckons the Fulham vacancy is an attractive proposition.

Meanwhile, Bowyer becomes the eighth manager sacked in the second tier this season after parting company with Blackburn Rovers.

Curbishley is a decent manager, and he knows how to deal with players quite well. Did alright with West Ham a few years back (2008ish)

Northampton Town close to being taken over by former Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas, apparently. #SavetheCobblers

Paul Lambert, if he went to Blackburn, he would be in for a rougher ride than he did with Villa.

I thought Jokanovic would be the much shrewder appointment, and it seems questionable they are targeting Lambert. He is proven at that level, but he hasn't really got the players to deploy his favoured style given King and Gestede's summer exits.

I did a little reading up on them and Ian Wright used to play for them and they once got to the First Round proper of the FA Cup back in the late 90s

Trouble with Jokanovic how much money would he demand.

He seems happy being manager of a middling club in Israel, Chelsea are their next home opponents

Jokanovic didn't want too much money at Watford, apparently. Reports to the contrary were overplayed, and he exited after clashing with the Pozzos over other matters.

Paul Lambert has indeed agreed to be the new Blackburn manager.

Think Blackburn are a sinking ship. Once Rhodes leaves they're done.

They had the crux of a good squad last season, though. King's pace, Gestede and Rhodes' tandem. They're suffering for showing very little ambition and becoming a selling club.

How they've kept hold of Rhodes, I don't know. That Marshall is a cracking player too.

Rhodes would have been better staying at Huddersfield.

It's a shame to see clubs in the North West struggle. It's a real heartland for the sport, and seeing Wigan down in League One and Blackburn/Bolton struggling is really sad.
