    Another day, another abusive message

Feeling pretty sorry for myself at the moment and guilty about things I don't think I handled well.

How can I become a teacher if things affect me this much.

    :console: thats awful

Even if you dont handle something well, people shouldnt send you abusive messages! whoever they are is clearly not worth your time!

:hugs: you'll be okay, hopefully if you are teaching people wont do things like that!

There's something comforting about an overcast, grey sky, maybe something about neutrality. Facial hair has got to the cactus stage, and it's driving me nuts x_x Currently feel neither here nor there, i prefer this over feeling like death though.

So hard to stay positive when your head thinks everything is wrong >_>

 But they look so stylish!

'fraid I don't quite know - I guess most offices should reply within 48 working hours (i.e. not sunday (maybe not saturday too)) so I guess go by that. :dontknow: Of course could send earlier than that/give it 24 hours probably if you like

Haha It's lime/really bright radioactive-y sorta green Ah - hope you have fun! Their websites generally quite rubbish I reckon, really difficult to go round/navigate (or at least I think so )
I'd get folders when you're there - they're quite big/airy when they don't have notes in them/take up excess space (depending how big your car is)
    Sounds good :teehee:

Aaaah okay Freshers starting then, that is? I think we're about the same :woo: We start on the 28th too, actually! (and our freshers is odd in that it's a fortnight, but runs at the same time as lectures start. Not that I really did anything in freshers besides cinema - and will aim to do the same this year )

This reminded me of this http://l-o-t-r.tumblr.com/post/49193...e-lembas-bread Hope you appreciate with your recent viewings Did you finish 'em? Got to watch them again soon myself Been too long!
Silly gif's aside, I'm sorry you don't have much on though :console:

This is just a completely random thought, but have you thought about teaching yourself some coding or something? :dontknow: I just remember reading that it's something that's okay/quite fun to self-teach possibly, and something that I'd personally like to get round to myself

For anon-ing, have you tried Rob's script? or is this on a tablet/phone?

Okey If you'd rather I used a different one (other than he) then please do say!

I need to join y'all at some point, maybe :ninja: Thinking of joining the CU, or at least the vaguely gospel-y/Xian choir (because they sing actual songs rather than stupid latin stuff ) Anyway... :getmecoat:

That sucks Have you spoken to doctor about it? Do you sleep walk? (I know I used to up til I was about 12 or so :dontknow:)

Don't think it makes you tight :dontknow: Sounds sensible to me to get your money's worth! What I try and do either way - nothing wrong with being careful with money/getting use out of it, imo!

There are so many people at Uni  and you have societies and groups and so many different ways to meet people similar to you - I'm sure you won't have any trouble You were just saying last night how you'd made some people laugh and stuff - I'm sure you'll be fine :hugs:

Sorry you're not feeling right at the moment You're always making us happier

I know when I woke up before exams shaking that going on a quick stroll helped, though I'm also never sure whether I'm shaking for being cold or for anxiety sometimes :dontknow: Can it ever be both? My teeth don't chatter but legs and arms did - luckily not that often at all though.
I hadn't realised you had ME (or I've forgotten ) - sorry to hear, I know that my brother's friend had/has it and struggled, though he seems to be doing well now - doing a degree at cardiff (sorry if that was random... )

:jumphug: :hugs: Around if you need to talk, really sorry they've been useless again Hope moving goes okay tomorrow

    Spoiler:
    Show
Sounds similar to depression to me, both from what I've read and partially what I've experienced with me - though I don't know how it overlaps with ME/CFS, because obviously (if I understand ME enough/vaguely) tiredness definitely comes with that (I think?)
Sorry that isn't much more help...

Welcome to the thread either way (if you haven't been here before? Sorry if not )

I can't say about catholic-ness, but in general churches are generally really friendly (at least those I've been to in the UK) - generally for most CofE there's a bit of chatter before the service, then not much talking besides the actual service-ness, and then coffee and biscuits at the end with chatter
If you tell someone that you're new/if they ask then they might introduce you to some people? :dontknow:
Don't know what the usual dress code is for catholic stuff - I guess just vaguely smartly

Sure she's not not talking to you :hugs: I'd guess she's just being rubbish with emails in general at the moment? Is the uniform just a shirt over the top? Could you wear a tshirt and bring the shirt along? (and hoodie :awesome: ) (Though it's probably different uniform to brownies than scouts I realise )

No, I've never sleep walked I don't think. It sounds really scary.
Sorry for the late reply, I've been all over the place. Upsetting times, good times. Up and down really.

Thank you, I'm not always good at managing my money. I'm a bit of a shopoholic

That's ok, you totally deserve it. :lovehug: You're a lovely person who's had a hell of a bad deal in life recently, but that doesn't mean it can't change. Right now I think you just need to focus on self-care and taking things one step at a time. Try and eat as best you can and same with sleep, maybe a tiny bit of gentle exercise if you can manage it (and if you've been eating). Don't worry about the big things if you can help it, you can take care of them later. Pretty much everything in life can be put on hold and regained later, your health is the most important thing to work on that can't be put aside.

Right, I want to buy a narrowboat. Mum and dad think it's a great idea and we're looking at around the £4k to £5k mark.

The thinking is: I'm going to need to pay for hotels in my hometown or I'll need to pay to live in halls. They're more expensive than the boats and the upkeep is fairly cheap. Bonus is it's not money wasted on rent, my family all love boating and it'll be a means of holidaying without huge costs - bonus since I'll be trapped in to the school terms so holidays are super expensive.

There's plenty of mooring space about half a mile away from my current placement and mooring in my hometown.

Does this sound like a reasonable idea or am I having a brain implosion caused by madness?

Gf is saying no but there's a hint that suggests she'll give in. It'd be my own space at last, cheap and easy to move around on.

I just think it was totally unrealistic lol. Salmond should walk the plank!
Thanks Had a really great time in the end - completely knocked out by it sort of but I think it's better than cycling or something - as in with that I turn up to my destination hot, sweaty, red in the face and out of breath - rather than with this I've just walked out unable to stand Swam for a good 30 mins or so, with like 15 stopping and breathing but still. Was good
Luckily not that many people there/had plenty of room to swim and get changed Now I've somehow got to walk into town  Sorry for ramble but yays

    Heeeeey Paradox
That sound pretty awesome tbh Though that said I'm probably not thinking practically and just thinking "oo boat :awesome:"
I can imagine it being quite cramped/difficult to live in possibly, have you ever gone on holiday in one before/you might have a better idea than me
Or could you rent one out for this term or half term or something and then decide whether to buy one?

    --------------------------------

Waiting for the bus saw someone opposite who I remember seeing next year - we've never spoken but often sort of see each other round campus/indicate a hello/smile Should probably actually say hello at some point

Not really spoken to you before (sorry!) but that sounds amazing  Only thing is, is your placement likely to end by the time you've actually bought the boat and will you be likely to be able to get to other placements in the same way? I have no idea how long they are or if I'm talking rubbish or not, sorry if I am

Stuck with the Tories now :/ this was such a huge opportunity for my country to take control of its future and become more socialist; and we've pissed it away for some last minute promises of devolution from Westminster. They're not actually going to give us more powers..
