Absolutely bombed in some modules, am extreemly dissapointed, despite the circumstances, should have been higher knowing myself. Still killing myself
How the hell did you manage that and are you aware that universities see both? Unless there was an one off thing that hampered you, this won't go down well with them even if your school believes in you (possible but unlikely to shift two grades)... I have heard about high predictions going wrong in our school where the students didn't even receive an interview.

I would really like to apply to Oxford for medicine, but I lack a full a level biology (taking AS biology in my A2 year) and fear that I will get an awful mark in section 2 of the BMAT (sections 1 and 2 seem okay). With the academics shown below, do I still stand much of a chance with Oxford as my A* percentage is only 81% (state comprehensive) which is below the 89% average for interviewees and I know that GCSEs and BMAT (esp sections 1 and 2) are used heavily when shortlisting for interviews.

    GCSE: 9A*s, 2As

    AS Levels
    A - Chemistry (99%) 296/300
    A - English Lit (99.5%) 199/200
    A - Maths (93%) 279/300
    a - History (82%) 163/200
a - Biology (to be done next year)
    Predictions: A*A*A*aa

Edit: I only ask this because I was recently told that only a small percentage of those without A2 biology get in and it feels like I'm on the back foot before I have even applied

No they aren't, not sure why I listed the UMS really However, if you want a partiularly high UMS to be seen by Oxford, I've seen some suggestions on here that you could get it mentioned in your reference.

No, but you can if you want.

And it's usually advised that you either put them all down, or put none of them down (because if you only put down some it looks like you've got something to hide).

Can't help but slightly agree. My school point blank refuses to predict an A* if you got less than 90% in the AS
