Mr speaker, not that it matters but why was rakas' vote removed when the presedence is that the first vote stands?

I've been quite open (as far as I can remember) that when an MP is replaced and both users vote, the more recent vote stand, just as when a permanent MP and proxy vote, the proxy's vote is removed.

Lol, surely that's a dodgy system? How can the new MP 'undo' the old one's vote. It's been done.

I've got to completely agree here. The first vote cast should be the one that stands

I agree. It allows parties to go further than whips in manipulating votes.

    Which isn't true.
Yes it is, and has always been so. More ayes than noes is always necessary for an item to pass.

Also, please do not post in that thread.

    Long-term proxies:

According to my records the following seats are currently being long-term proxied:

Seat 09 (Conservative): Pinkberry_y for banterboy
Seat 26 (Liberal): Birchington for Airmed
Seat 42 (Socialist): Aph for grimApocalypse
Seat 45 (Socialist): frankielogue for nabillio
Seat 49 (Green): cBay for vacant

I will attempt to tag relevant party leaders and I would appreciate them letting me know whether a proxying arrangement is still in use or whether the proxy has taken over the seat permanently.

    Many thanks.
