Ok. How did you do your Personal statement, because LSE are REALLLY picky about them. Also which other Uni's areyou applying to. Oxford? college?

Commiserations to everyone who got rejected When abouts did you all apply?

Is it just me or does it seem to be non-A level people?

Unlucky...GL with the others...Where else did you apply?
Oxford-PPE, Warwick-PPE, Bristol and York. Now that I think of it I had about 5-10% chance for LSE so it wasn't worth the shot....

In the Law offers/rejections thread 2 people have said that they were rejected today by LSE, one of which had 5 As at AS and was predicted 4 As at A2. I don't know the grades of the other person.

Great. It seems they just toss a coin or something. As far as I know LSE is the most competitive uni in UK, so it's obviously lottery after all (how can smb with 4 A AS+3 predicted As be rejected? ).

I got rejected by LSE today for economics and government. This has totaly surprised my tutors because im predicted AAAA tis year and even acheived an A one year early last year aslong with what is 4 other subjects at AS. I got the highest score in my school for politics and my school is extremely competitive.... we had a 88% sucess rate for oxbridge last year... and i dont know why i have been rejected. Im sort of annoyed that i got rejected so early... seeing as my grades are potentially the highest ever in my country if i achieve the predicted grades. So basically i have the eqivelent to 5 A2 levels of which one is already an A and the four this year are predicted to be A's.

But owellls... what can i do i guess except be a lil sad

btwgave my grades to the english eqivelent... its different here...

government and politics seems to be quite popular for rejection. Anyway, it's gone now and we should look at the still-no-rejection unis.

They might be just doing automatic rejections to anyone with less than a certain number of A*s (especially for Law and Economics)
