Bolded bit made me cry. :p: Good luck with the decision making, I can understand how you might find it difficult, especially if it isn't paid (they might cover costs, at least? I do agree). Any idea what kind of thing you'd be doing? (And, optional bonus question: how did you wangle that invite?!)
The guy was a past Microsoft Research PhD scholar and I think now works for them (link)

I have no details of what it would involve or anything in fact. I don't even know definitively whether it will be paid or unpaid (although I'm hunching unpaid).

Basically last week we discussed strategies for the assembly contest and this week I showed him what I wrote. Then for some reason he started asking about what I'll be doing in the summer vacation etc. and I said I'll probably be studying in advance for next year. Then he said if I wanted any opportunities like an internship I should give him a chat some time and I was like WTF? :lolwut:

I just went "OK" and never said anything after that. :o:

Bolded bit: you don't have to play dumb. :p: Your implementation must have been rather impressive! Nice work, man. Getting headhunted already.

    You're a kind hearted fool.

You're under the illusion that she can be nice. When she's nice it's only to get something, to fulfill some inner need. It's all an illusion. The friend you know is no longer your friend. She's a lost cause and the longer you waste your time with her, the bigger change she will have on you.

Manipulative *****es remain manipulative *****es. Don't fall into her trap. Even though you are talking to her, be wary of her and never take anything she says to heart.

And talk less to her. Keep it brief.

Yes. Everybody listen to what the Ape says.

No no it was a dumb algorithm implemented in a dumb way for a dumb competition. :o: Although I think I've been doing quite well in his supervisions but that's only because I actually like the subjects.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not :shifty:

But I speak from experience. A sociopath nearly caused the suicide of a fellow pupil and *rest is not up for discussion*

For real? I thought you had a GF ...
    Bisexual? That's awesome ...

I've always wanted to be bisexual :awesome: but I have no attraction to males :sigh:
 On this occasion, you fail reading comprehension! I'm straight. However, I also thought a couple members were gay or bisexual.
