You can get a couple of things from the trailer:

    Spoiler:
    Show
They seem to be going back to some older Cybermen stories involving temples. It could be either one has crash landed on earth ages ago, or it's another 10th planet story. If the former, could possibly the episode title about something below (second episode I think?) but then I thought that would be Silurians ... hmm ...
Yes, the inside of the TARDIS. Although ... pure cheese with hanging her out of it - how far does the shield extend? She's holding her breath (probably out of some sort of misconception about having to) but the pressure (or lack thereof) would cause all the liquid in her body to evaporate (explosive decompression: Learned from CSI: Miami :awesome:)
    Spitfires ... in space ...
New sonic screwdriver at the Stone Henge bit. It's green :|
    Ooh yeah, looking good

Did anyone else notice the Dalek has a union jack instead of its usual marking?

Planet of the Weeping Angels, looks like they're not unfriendly for some reason

The Daleks are on the British side, hired by Winston Churchill

I can begin to see that the audience for Doctor Who is changing ever so slightly, just by the look of it.

And does the budget and the scope of the show seem a bit wider now?

Yeah I know, just seems like a rather strange thing to happen.

Does the temple in the Cybermen shot mean that they could go back to being an actual alien race?

I heard a rumour (not 100% sure if its true, cant even remember where I heard it actually :P) that something happened to the dalek that made it forget about its whole "exterminate" purpose

I didn't realise it was so close :woo:

I've decided to try and give Matt Smith another chance and just treat it like he is playing the most 'alien' incarnation of the Doctor :yep:

BBC USA trailers. I think it's better than the ones they're drip feeding us.

The second is the New Year's trailer, but the first is definitely an improvement on the recent ones we've got

Also: I see Moffat is bringing back the "What do monsters have nightmares about?" "Me" line from The Girl in the Fireplace (which, you should remember, he wrote).

Now that is what trailers should be like!

    --------------

If someone could just answer me these things I would be very grateful as they have been popping around my brain a fair bit...

Is it the memories and the shared history that make a Time Lord more than any physical trait?
Does a Time Lord have to have two hearts to be a complete Time Lord?
Is everyone born of a Time Lord called a Time Lord, if not what are the people of Gallifrey known as?
What is the importance in the Doctor choosing 'Doctor' as his title? What does a title mean?

    And finally

When the Doctor is 'dying' why does it bother the humans so much when he will regenerate a moment later...

The Doctor has said (very recently) that when he regenerates, he changes. His personality is different, and so are his looks, so while he might share all the memories of his past incarnations, he is pretty much a new person. Of course the baggage of those memories will pile up the further along his regenerations he gets. Humans are said to be a sum of those experiences, but he seems to go through a personality rewrite each time he regenerates, but he is still affected by his experiences. Also, the humans wont see him as the same doctor. I don't think Rose was in love with Eccleston's doctor, and she probably wouldn't be with Smith's.

The two hearts thing is more an evolutionary thing I suppose. Time lords evolved to have two hearts, just like birds evolved to have wings to flee from predators and such.

Gallifrey, from what I can tell, is full of non-timelords too. I suppose they're Gallifreyans? From what we've seen (although I can only speak for New-Who) you are admitted in to the Time Lord Academy where you become a time lord, rather than being one from birth.

The doctor could have two meanings - 1) One who is extremely good at his profession (Space and Time would be The Doctor's specialist subject) or 2) Those who heal others. I think both are true of The Doctor

Of course this is just one fan's opinions/knowledge
