ed won by a landslide.
As if he was going to do anything but. Now he can write his resignation letter on the way down to London.

Strange, isn't it? It's not even like it's a tiny difference... it's a very significant one.

You say that as if it's surprising.

Tories closing in on Labour - 1 seat difference now.

Edit... and now they have gained the lead.

I hear from my fellow York Tories that there may be a recount going on in Morley and Outwood, at the very least we have to wait a while for the results, their car parking extended until 8am

Damning to see that the betfair odds have Labour majority as about 0.1% chance, Lab-Lib also about 0.1% and Lab minority about 0.4%.
So tempting to put a tenner on each just in case something incredible (and not in a good way) happens.

I see your results were due at 5 am as well. So yeah, makes sense.

I think it's fair to say that you will lose your money doing that.

Is there anywhere to see a list of all decalred, since York seats should have been delcared by now and I would like to see how well we did in Central
Just saw Lab took Cambridge, which is a real surprise, Julian was polling pretty damn strongly

I have been using this:

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...esults-in-full

But if you'd rather not use the Guardian, typing "election" into Google brings up an option to search for seats and it shows voting percentages.

Guardian will do.
As I said on Facebook, while expressing my surprise, shame it didn't go blue for another solid blue county.

tbh, wouldn't put it past the Tories trying to repeal FTPA and reinstate the old system and hold an early election to try to get a much more workable majority government

Cmabs NW (home constituency) had a much lesser UKIP presence than expected, will probably have done much better in the council elections than GE though. Surprised LD managed to pass the 5% mark

You think? It is possible.

Arrrgh no, stuck with the Conservative MP here in Calder Valley. As I said before, no offense to the Tories, but this guy is useless.

For all intents and purposes a Conservative government, some Labour MPs probably want to retunr to the old system, as will some MPs from other parties, tbh, probably even the Lib Dems now they will benefit from it, unlike when they brought it in. The Labour MPs will probably be whipped to vote against it but I reckon if timed right it would pass, just about. What we have to remember is that the Tories can't really lose out, not this term at least, they either call an early election when doing well or they just sit out the full 5 years.

Okay good morning, what have I missed.

1) Has Nigel Farage won his seat
2) Has Nick Clegg.

--

My constituency has remained conservative again what a shock
--
Oh my, the Lib Dems really aren't doing well.

Guardian seems dodgy
First it says that Bercow failed to hold, then that he is still a Conservative and won by miles...
