Ayatullah Sistani(rh), my marji for islamic rulings, said of any battles or offensives in Iraq: Don't kill an old man, nor a boy, nor a woman. Don't cut a tree unless you have to," he warned.

Ayatullah Sistani(rh) prefers not to get involved in politics, and he is the most followed marji in Iraq and maybe worldwide.

He also stated: "Do not call sunni's our brothers, but call them our souls "

Anyone who kills any innocent human being from any madhab deliberately should find his seat in hell in my eyes. Killing one innocent human being is like killing the whole of mankind.

Ibn `Abbas [may Allah be pleased with him] said:

“Indeed good actions are a light in the heart, a strengthening for the body, a glow on the face, a cause for extensive provisions and love in the hearts of the creation.

Indeed bad actions are a darkness in the heart, a blackness on the face, a weakness for the body, a cause for decrease in provisions and hatred in the hearts of the creation.”

I'm not going to get into a debate here. I wasn't even talking about 'uniting' at the cost of aqeedah.

Alif, i am so careful as to how to choose my words. I don't want to say anything and invite groups to all start on me. I know that is not what you want either, so i'm just going to remain silent here.

I owe you a reply on the thread, give me a bit of time - how long will you be awake for brother ?
I have no interest in getting into a debate.

I'm aware you've carefully crafted your words which is why I felt the need to comment.

    Possibly.

The concept of a best man is foreign to my culture.

I would not go on holiday with a stranger.

Sorry about that sister, i don't know why, but that conversation i have had with brother Alif, in real life, i felt tranquility and happiness completely take over me. It is really strange.

Maybe someone here has made a dua for the users to have more tolerance to one another.
