What happens to rubisco when it binds with the thylakoids , does the tertiary structure change because it has forme bonds with the thylakoid and therefore the other bonds are disrupted

I did the membrane question:I wrote about synapse membranes (pre and post), thin membranes for short diffusion distance, axon with voltage gated channels, carrier proteins, hormone receptors on liver cells and I completely stole the paragraph from the question about hiv and receptors on membranes haha
Think it went ok, was hoping for a question on rods and cones and maybe a bit more of genetic fingerprinting.
Problem is I have no idea if my interpretation of the graphs was what they wanted! Have yo wait and see I guess

Guys for the membrane essay i wrote about the membranes of mitochondria (ETC) and thylakoid membranes (Light independent reaction), is that relevant???

Inner mitochondrial membrane in ETC + out of spec stuff
Sodium-potassium pump + out of spec stuff
****ty paragraph about stomata and tube shaped cells in xylem which won't probably be revelvant
Phagocytosis - chemoreceptors on membrane/phagosome exocytosis
Synapses
oh and phospholipid bilayer
I literally wrote the exactly the same thing except i didn't include the stuff about the stomata and xylem

That was my guess! Formation of hydrogen/Di sulphide bonds with thylakoid changes active site shape on enzyme, no idea if it's right or now though

Am I the only one that did relationships and interactions between organisms lol?
I did that one too. I wrote about the transfer of energy, predator-prey, intraspecific and interspecific competition, symbiotic relationships, nutrient cycle, courtship and succession. What about you?

I didn't know whether membrane bound organelles was relevant as it said membranes of cells

What did other people think?

The structure and importance of the plasma membranes that are found within and
around cells.

Plasma membrane structure
Prokaryotes and eukaryotes

Importance of membranes within cells
Membrane-bounded organelles
Chloroplasts
Mitochondria
Protein synthesis

Importance of membranes around cells
Diffusion, osmosis, active transport
Absorption from the gut
Receptors
Impulses and synapses
Hormone action
--------
our essay was a little different, it said cells. Im not sure if we could include organelles or not. this is what I wrote about

membrane of nerve cells, membrane of muscle cells, membrane of red blood cells, membrane of palisade cells and then I added thylakoid membranes at the end. I also did structure of plasma membranes and wrote about epithelial cells. Very brief paragraphs though

Pretty sure that exam was 20% biology and 80% graphs and other bull****.
So so true. I barely remember putting anything I'd actually revised, it was all just what I could get from the info they gave me :/ Felt like there were about 5 marks available for factual knowledge :/

Yeah thats what I did but I tried to not talk about organelle membranes cause I thought it was only cell membranes
i talked a bit about lysosomes, vesicles and vacuoles though
