I ment more serial crime, once one has killed or raped they might as well do it again because the punishment can't go up. Also people who want to die but can't do it themselves are more likely to try and get the state to kill them. Plus the death penalty has no effect on crime rates in the form of deterant.
Reoffence and serial crime are two different metrics though. And if somebody cannot kill themselves how exactly are they going to commit a capital crime?

sometimes killing ones self is harder to bring yourself to do than killing another.

So now you're admitting that, even if we exclude the mental overload, your plan to create a socialist state wouldn't work...

I believe that ultimately we will see a single world nation.
I belive that ultimately we will see humans having computers implanted into them.
I belive that eventually socialism will win out.
And I belive that one day we will all talk by wifi.

We probably will have a world government, but not a human government, it will be when the stars are colonised, so you'll be waiting a while.

An all round better debate in my opinion.

Some petty points and the classic avoiding the question - but I think it answered the questions the people wanted to hear, not what the politicians themselves wanted to hear.

I think the lack of strong, easy rebuttals was disappointing, as was the whole "hurhur Boris wants to be PM" thing

Nicola was trying to convince everyone that Scotland wasn't on her agenda but it just simply was.

I am a bit surprised that she isn't supporting a Brexit.

If they became independent they'd be further reliant on secured EU trade to ensure their economy won't collapse.

Regardless of that their net gain is greater than England's.

To be fair I would highlight that PIC with the caption. The case is a shambles and the idea he skates with 6 months while lying, running from the police, blaming the Vic, going to trial and then blaming it on alcohol when guilty. All because of his aspirations.

Disgraceful. I agree with the Lefties here.

Is it just me who thinks that BoJo is genuinely bad at constructing arguments?

I think having Sturgeon represent Remain isn't exactly helpful... Then again, it's better than Blair.
