Correct.

Because even though they wont, Sinn Fein could still take their seats
If they did they could force the torys into opposition if labour coalitioned with everyone:yep:

They only have 4 at the moment. It's a real shame about Charles Kennedy and Vince Cable though, they were the only Libs I could stand.

Thats what bbc says but I can wait for the news of ukips demise
Whether Farage wins or loses he can be proud of leading a party from polling in small, single digits to the third largest party in British politics. Early reports from across the board are blaming Ed Balls' loss on the 5% swing from Labour to UKIP, and the swing has been vital in some marginal seats with UKIP being a bigger pain for Labour than the Conservatives. UKIP is also the party renewing the debate on proportional representation which will inevitably help you Greens as much as UKIP.

But the thing is does UKIP=Farrage? Id say it does to most people so id question if the party will survive without him.

I'll be sad to see Farage go if he does as he does make UKIP what it is, and everyone says it, because it's true - he's a massive character!

People suggested the same thing about Alex Salmond and the SNP but they turned out fine.

I am trying to think what I can change my name to following the loss.

MMm, it'd be weird to not have Farage in these forums though...

Queen Elizabeth II? That'd probably have a bit more longevity.

It is sad that Nigel Farage failed to be elected in Thanet South, but UKIP will continue their struggle to show the people that UKIP are the party for the future.
