Please don't post your question more than once as it just clogs up the thread, also there is already a dedicated thread for this sort of question.

I got my interview invite last night, it is for IBD. I made some pressure as my JPM/CS offers will exceed very soon. GS has restructured the interview process and therfore there will be multiple rounds of interviews, unfortunately. So dont lose hope, folks!
Who did you contact to apply pressure?

The interview is a strengths based interview, (Google it if you don't know what it is as I had to!!). Questions still include the compulsory why Barclays etc, but focuses more on situations and how you would react. If you have any questions PM me, but please google first as most questions can be answered with a few mins of research

"Your friend is doing something wrong, would you rat like a ***** or be a real thug brotha?"

The answer is to rat. Noone stands higher than Barclays, not even your criminal ass friend.

if your broke for a coffee your doin sth wrong bro. networking 101.

write him a very short message stating who u are, how u found his connection and if he would have the time to chat over the phone this/that week. have questions prepared aka do ur research about his profile and keep the conversation flow/professional. youll find out if he likes you and if its worth taking the relationship further soon enough. good luck
lol ive only just read this properly, that was a clear joke
