In 2004, Jeremy Corbyn backed a motion in parliament to recognise @Arsenal as "the best team in the world".

No wonder he's winning all the polls
and i thought their regular fans were bad, turns out their famous ones are gimps as well

how many times have you seen the greatest team in the world get knocked out of the champions league by wayne bridge?

    Hello... Piers Morgan?

The guy's tweets when Arsenal lose bring me more happiness than my own birthday.

Disgusted to have a fraud line Corbyn as an arsenal fan, guys straight outta the 1970's policies, "QE for the people"? Fyck off m9 you tit, tryna find a financial loophole where spending £300bn of money you don't have wouldn't come up in debt figures. ****ing dinosaur (and not a goonersaurous at that)...

Would expect someone with his economic incompetencies to support a Chelsea or Manchester city or an equivalent oil club from the 60's, man would get torn apart in an economic debate on reducing the debt by mr. NetSpend a.k.a Mr. Net gimp a.k.a the Mohssive Bellbag

Wasnt at the WHU game but genuinely felt like throwing up in terms of the decadence of that performance. Wenger is responsible for not motivating the players correctly, a sluggish start has been typical in recent years. There was absolutely no intensity from the midfield, at any stage, and even in the first half this had the smell of an upset.

Still, I think we'll challenge for the title once we get going. Love the guys saying Cech is past it because he didnt properly coordinate with his defence. Of course that was terrible, but the people trying to say Cech is finished etc are delusional imo. Anyone whos ever started in a new office makes mistakes, no matter how good you are.

What happened against WHU is plain. A motivated team congesting the middle will in general beat a team trying to play pornhub football through the middle. Why we didnt actually tactically switch it up at half time, with Sanchez/Walcott providing width, is baffling. And the people blaming Giroud must never have watched anyone else but Messi up front. He was fine. It wasnt our day and the tactics were all wrong, but you can not make scapegoats. Although I have to say Debuchy was absolutely terrible.

Personally I would play this if possible

    Cech
    Bellerin Mert Kosc Monreal
    Ramsey Coq
    Ozil
    Walcorr Giroud AOC

I think we will play fine. But Palace for us always seems to be a mini-Stalingrad with a set piece goal defended for much of the 2nd half. I think the players will be bitter after last week, so hopefully we play a proper Arsenal game.

    Strong omission of Alexis
The temptation is to treat Alexis like a relentless animnal, and from a personal level he is the typical South American energiser bunny, But he had the copa, but it wouldnt surprise me if he starts. He was doing sprints after the WHU game, just by himself.

Sanchez is worth his weight in gold, no complacency from him. If he does start vs Palace we will play with intensity.

He did it in Europe as well. Hated him when he was around but now you appreciate how class a manager he was.

I work with a Juventus fan who calls Tevez ''the Apache'' and you can see why. They'll really miss him, he provides so much above and beyond goals/assists

Personally, I think Tevez is in the top 10 PL players Ive seen. You need to watch him live to appreciate the off the ball work though. Suarez does it even better.

But Sanchez can and has played that kind of game. People who dont want them live cant understand the tactical advantage their intensity provides. Used correctly, it really is like having 12 players.

So I look forward to Sanchez

Just putting this out again, Koscielny is the 2nd best defender in the PL

His 1 v 1 defending is almost flawless. The likes of Adams/Camobell were better but they relied on their reactions to the immediate ball. Never seen an Arsenal defender like Koscielny who prefers to do you after the initial contact

Koscielny is genuinely world class and I really hope him and Cech get co-ordination soon

As well as that, Koscielny is clearly a hard ******* carrying all kinds of psychological baggage because he spent his early career in Ligue 2. You can tell he takes pride in ruining superstars, he leaves the studs in for them. I knew once he kicked Messi around the Emirates that he was half-decent

    Should be our captain

Koscielny-Gabriel has the potential to be the most aggressive partnership in the league btw. Wenger nearly invariably has had an Adams, Campbell, Mertesacker partnered with the aggressive 2nd CB. But I'd love to see more of Kosc-Gabriel, so aggressive. If we want to play a high line then these 2 are gold.

I thought you thought he was the best? £35 million worth? Have to admit quality defending for Zarate's goal at the weekend

I also kind of respect the fact Koscielny has made absolutely no attempt to learn English, and speaks even in interviews purely in commands followed by intense eye-balling. Classic hard Frenchman.

100% he had an Arsenal video where he tried to co-opt some random translator walking past to speak for him. Literally tried to physically force him into the interview. Not a single **** was given.

What a man, he can have my daughters once Adams is done.

    He is worth that though

Go out into the market, and try and buy a top CB. How much is it? Stones is £30m apparently. So Kosclieny?

He might be worth it now, though Barca were unwilling to go over £30 million in the summer, but he wasn't when you first said that well over a year ago.

In my profession, it is my job to spot trends

Perhaps overestimated but there can be little doubt that Kosicleny is in the group of top 10 defenders in Europe. And I would have him closer to top 5, but obviously bias.

Yeah he is a very good defender on his day no doubt, certainly your best by a considerable distance and far more consistent that he used to be. Remember that game you lost away when Blackburn were absolute dog sh*te and he had a 'mare.

Let's be honest it's not that difficult to get into the top 5/10 of CB's these days, not that many top ones around these days. The fact Terry at 34 is the best in the PL speaks volumes
