    i never said i deserved the 100 ums ... i was actually pretty worried because i thought i didnt get the 100. i wouldn't mind 100 being 75 .. it would only want me to work closer to perfection.

    I got it right and crossed it out :laugh:
    To be fair it was quite like a question in the textbook in one of the review exercises

    How did your other mechanics modules go?

    Did you get 75 raw marks then?
    If not, just be happy with the boundaries...

    I'm not fussed by that tbh, it was like that with FP1 and I can accept that. You have to admit moments was a beast though
    Even C3 was like that, and just to make it worse Edexcel gives everyone a 11 mark leeway for 100 UMS
    :fuming:

    Yeah probably... Oh well, not bothered

    M1 was my only mechanics module last year. Doing M2 and depending on a class vote M3 this year.

    You?

    Same as you in M1. M2 was 80
    But I'll retake M2, and I'm doing M3 this year

    That's a shame. I only got 85 in C2. Did you have to state your M2 UMS to any university? At least you can retake.

    Good luck with M3, you started it yet? I heard it's really hard

    91 in C2
    No, I didn't, for all Oxford know, I got an in M2 On the flip side, that's my only F.Maths module on UCAS that I've finished, and the fact that I'm predicted only an A in F.Maths (despite 100C3, 99C2, 97M1 all in my reference) gives away that M2 was poor.
    M3 is kind of okay so far, but we're only on chapter 3. But the exam questions seem to be a bit harder than how much M1 and M2 tested your intelligence as opposed to knowledge.

    How do you know you got 75/75? I had to work out my UMS from the converter, but I didn't get 100

    May I ask why for 5 part d, that the acceleration is 0.792ms^-2

    I get that it could be that, but I thought that

    s=990
    u=0
    v=22
    a=a
    t=50

    So why when you do v=u+at
    a=22/50ms^-2

    Can someone explain this please?

    Here are my solutions to the M1 paper. Fairly easy, moments one will cause problems though.

    1. momentum - pretty easy, standard

    2. Dynamics - it is pretty easy but it could cause problems.

    3. Statics - fairly standard

    4. Kinematics - easy

    5. Speed time graph - standard, simple.

    6. Moments - quite a bit harder than normal, it will cause a lot of problems

    7. Vectors - pretty damn easy

    8. Connected particles - First part was a joke, last part is easy but doesn't get asked a lot.

    I think it will be about 62-63 for an A

    I have also uploaded the other time zone paper, which I thought was quite a bit harder.

    (I made a calc error with g on the inclined plane question!)
    Have u got the international paper with no answers ???
