    wasnt k = 65/2. becuause if you do 65/2 *16 gives u 520 and -288+520 gives u 232

    Damn it all went well apart from the 2^2x+5 which was 32y^2 and I was stupid and think I messed up the value for b cause I seem to remember writing something to do with 1008 was that used somewhere does anyone remember? Cheers

    The correct answer was 120. They asked for the minimum value of P (the perimeter) and 17 was the value of x. You get 17 (or indeed 16.66 or something) and substitute that back into P the find the minimum value of P.
