    Oh yes, the overheating Acer Aspire! If I recall, the maximum temperature that the Acer Aspire can reach - prior to shutting down, is 105'C. Are the temperatures in the 80'Cs or 90'Cs at the moment?

    Yes, you are correct - the Acer Aspire will reach 105'C and then shut down.

    Temperatures are currently in the 70s-80's C, which isn't good, but isn't dreadful...

    As a sidenote, the HP only got to 70'C when I was pushing it quite hard in order to keep up with the demand on CTAM transition day a couple of days ago!

    Why do you keep buying crap laptops that have all these problems? When I buy something I always read the reviews online to see how good the products is before buying it.
