Tuesday, Wednesday and then that is it!

Btw, my parents insist on being there when I open them - I want to be completely alone - is this wrong?
At least I'm not the only one with stubborn parents..

Yes, if you want to open them on your own then you should not let your parents force you to open it in front of them. If they still come with you to school then just grab the results and get the heck outta there.

Don't you get your results inside school??
In my school, you get given your results in the office and then just imagine that you get them soaked, when you take them out of the office.I have just found out that I should ring the office between 9-12 to find out when to collect my results, which strongly hints that I won't be getting my results too late on the day.It doesn't matter anyway, the later the time the more sleep I will have.

School have access to results before 6 though.
I'm not sure when exactly they get the results its definitely on the Wednesday though but you do raise a valid point and that is that the Grade Boundaries are deliberately released the day before to wind us all up before results day, when I know they must be calculated at least a week before realistically considering all the grades they have to calculate using the grade boundaries before they can upload the results to the schools.

I think I did well/okay in my GCSEs but I know I have done bad in French Listening (AQA) and Additional Maths (OCR)- they're the subjects I'm most worried about and what's even more unnerving is that the grade boundaries for Additional Maths went up by around 10 marks

Finished my GCSEs in 2011 but I just thought I should come on here and brag about the 2A* and 1A I got in my a-levels last week. Enjoy your next two years suffering and stressing about a levels.

I know, I would rather stay in school/uni for several more years, I would be way too scared! Yes we definitely are, can't complain with 3 out of 4 a levels the same! Haha, well I suppose it's hard to say, whatever it is it will be science based! Maybe medicine (although I'm very aware of how competitive it is!) I'm very interested in something to do with chemistry too, difficult choice! what about you? Any career ideas?
I am planning on taking a Degree plus Masters combined(MMath I think something like that) at University and possibly a PhD in Maths and going into Pure Maths Research at a University, I plan to specialise in Calculus on the Complex Plane. If that doesn't go well I will solve complex differential equations to calculate what the weather is going to be like in the Meteorological Office.

I will probably end up getting to sleep very late in the night and I will be very tired when I open my results because its hard to sleep early in the night, when you've been going to bed at 4am for the past few weeks
