Barnsley have booked their place at Wembley in the JP trophy where they will face Oxford in early April. Big game tonight though for Brighton against Brentford.

Be a bit of a shame for Barnsley losing a manager after such a remarkable run. It was a comfortable win tonight for Brighton over Brentford which puts them 3rd.

Can't blame him and the club can't really do much about it. It's what happens when you're lower down.
Not sure of his contract situation but you'd imagine they'd get paid out a decent sum of money for him.

It's clear Barnsley have the players - they just need the right manager to make them shine. They'll find somebody else and I'm confident they'll get promoted in the next 2 years.

Lol stepdad is raging as a Brentford fan, that defence tho....absolutely shambles, they may as well not be there for half the time. No chance of the play-offs this season me thinks.

Epic comeback by Sheffield Wednesday today, hopefully their goalie wasn't too badly injured as he required 10 minutes treatment on the pitch.

Another win by Bolton, too. Quite the shift in form since the New Year.

We're not playing much better to be honest. Just a few things have fallen for us last 3 games. Hopefully this takeover happens, gives the players a bit of a boost and we can have a good crack at staying up. Thankfullly for us, there is a LOT of crap in this league this season.

agreed it feels like the standard has tethered from last year....saying that Bristol city and Mk Dons looked to have potential but theyre *****.

Hopefully Wigan and Burton can do better on promotion

Yet was absolutely anonymous at Leicester. Yes they signed Ulloa but that doesn't mean he stops fighting for his place

He had serious family problems with his dad's health and was on compassionate leave for a few months of last season, I dare say there were other things on his mind than fighting for his place.

The season seems to be imploding in predictable fashion and Leicester charging to the top flight title leads me to believe there cannot be a God.

We were **** because we had a manager that was clueless and out of his depth at this level, now we got rid we look much better, we've outplayed almost every team this year we just can't score goals , even beat the league leaders home and away.

Don't seem to matter that they have lost their manager either
