agreed it feels like the standard has tethered from last year....saying that Bristol city and Mk Dons looked to have potential but theyre *****.

Hopefully Wigan and Burton can do better on promotion
The problem with MK is that we got promoted (scoring over 100 goals) and our team is now actually worse than it was in League One. We lost Dele Alli, Benik Afobe and Will Grigg and didn't come close to replacing them. :sigh:

    Amazing.
Not like you'll see a BBC sport article on it though...

Like you said, they lost their manager and still won convincingly today.

Their board did say even if he left they still got good measures in place. It's like Burton, they lost Hasselbaink but they are still flying.

Bolton are showing some good fight lately, think they are literally fighting for their lives especially as another relegation will be devastating for them.

Just seen the highlights from St. Andrews. Dramatic turnaround from Sheffield Wednesday, but I'm just glad Kieran Westwood - who was stretchered off - is OK. Worrying scenes for a while there.

Wonder if they have anyone lined up, I think it's a bit mental personally, they are 5th in the table

It is strange, first bad run and he gets booted. They've brought in Des Walker as an academy coach

Didn't notice this one from earlier today, Rotherham also sacking their manager http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35524363

Absolutely absurd decision to sack Clement. Yes, Derby have spent a lot of money but it's almost as if the Derby board/owners expect others not to compete for promotion, and that money = guaranteed success. It's a difficult division to get out of and stability is key (unless you're Watford 14/15).

Apparently Di Canio AND Carver have both applied for the vacant Rotherham position. Jesus Christ. I'd rather have a fan in charge.

They're 5th and falling. No wins and three losses since December. It'd be longer than that if they weren't against **** teams prior.

Success is expected if you have money. You can't spend £25,000,000 in the Championship and be outside of the title race just two thirds of the way through the season. It's not good enough by any standard.

Weird equaliser for Boro at stadium MK tonight, in a 1-1 draw. Dons will be unhappy with conceding it, for sure.

Big win for Stevenage which leaves Hartlepool last in the football league.

Taken less than a week for Rhodes to get off the mark for Boro - but I'm sure Blackburn fans will just be delighted his first goal didn't come against them on Saturday.
