With how you've performed in the spring week process, if you either don't convert, or decide to go after another bank, you should be more than fine in securing a summer internship and I'd be shocked if you didn't.

Good luck with all the different spring weeks you plan to do.

I would personally have aimed for higher status universities with those grades, to put you in a better position for applying for jobs. If you do end up with those grades, maybe consider clearing to get into higher ranked institutions. I'm not sure on what the stance is for Btec but I would assume conversions wouldn't be too dissimilar.

Nevertheless, when starting your firsrt year of university, I would recommend looking for opportunities to get experience in the broking industry, be it through family members/friends or formal programmes such as the aforementioned ICAP insight programme: http://www.icapcampusrecruitment.com...y-insight.aspx

    Arghhh Laz rejection

This is getting really demoralising! Hoping so much that JP pulls through but that is looking less likely by the day as lots of people have heard back post int.

    All for one week... :shot:

Make sure you ask for feedback, that way you can learn to improve for next time. Sorry to hear that though.

2 pages back: search for another vacancy (i.e. summer internship)
logg on, and then it will work
