# Edexcel C1/C2 June 2014 watch

1. DAMNIT I thought 6root5 was the hypotenuse wtf was I thinking
2. (Original post by Ilovemaths96)
i doubt anything below 75 will get 100 ums, edexcel is a pain in the neck like that
Yeah Edexcel generally keep the marks required for 100UMS high. Normally it's 75 marks required or sometimes 74 if the paper is harder. This is ignoring what happened with regards to the grade boundaries for the C3 paper last year.

question asked it in the form a + b(root3)
But that doesn't mean a and b couldn't be fractions

true but you need to seperate terms
what did everyone get for the integration question?i got -root(3)/9 as one part and i forgot what my a value was
YES!!! I got that. Thank god, I thought I'd made a mistake because the numbers were weird.

/
What exactly do you mean? do you mean state the value of a and b individually?
7. forgot to square 4 for the circles question but everything else was right, how much did i lose?
8. (Original post by SpartanN7)

Yep!
Thank god!!!!
I tried substituting them into the original equation and got -0.001346??!!
But I guess it's close to 0
17. 2tanx -3sinx=0
2sinx/cosx -3sinx=0
sinx(2/cosx-3)=0

sinxx=0 and cosx=2/3

Therefore, x = 0, -0.84 or 0.84

Is this right?

Is this right?
Sinx=0

x=0,pi,-pi also

Guess what?
I did all that and forgot to put 0!!

Is this right?
Oui Because the answer I replied to is wrong since you can't work out the cos-1 of anything that is greater than 1.
