    That actually sounds interesting!
Who knew you could get into an interesting job with a geography degree? 😂
I received medicine offers from Glasgow and Newcastle but firmed Newcastle.
Surprisingly, most graduate jobs don't actually need a specific degree. Good luck with Medicine, especially with being a junior doctor in the future

oh that sounds good then! Kings college London wbu?
Oh nice! I actually went to look at KCL at Guy's campus for Pharmacy, before deciding that I'd rather do Geography. Got an offer from UCL for geography, but London is so expensive and apparently, the department at UCL is very bad.

So, I'm going to Leeds for Economics and Geography with a Year in Industry! (If I get the grades of AAA...)

Any idea what jobs you might want to do in the future?

It's a nightmare learning all the case studies for ecosystems, plate tectonics and world cities.

Why am I doing a degree in geography this September again ...
    What university?

Discuss the evidence for tectonic plate movement. (10 marks)JUNE 2014

    How would I answer this?

What I think would be the right thing to do is to talk about Alfred Wegner's theory blabla.

Then the geographical evidences and then the biological evidences?
Probably after throw in sea-floor spreading and paleomagnetism maybe?

Not sure how to fully secure 10 marks...

If anyone is doing weather and climate can you read this. You know we have to know international responses o global warming, E.g. Kyoto Protocol, would it be better to use the Paris Climate Conference from this year? As thats kind of old now.
I would use both - evaluate one using the other - gets more examples in too!

So I know we need a load of case studies, but do I need ones for even the small things in world cities when I'm doing that as a 25 marker, not a 40? E.g. Suburbanisation (I have one for counter urbanisation which is similar I guess)

    My predictions are
    Ecosystems:
7 - Impact of unplanned/Planned species maybe from looking at an extract
8 - Characteristics of a tropical biome with reference to an example
10 - Discuss the view sustainable tourism myth or reality?
    Development and globalisation:
7 - Maybe an extract on NICs and their impact on the world economy
8 - Characteristics of an LDC
10 - not sure, maybe something on the development continuum in relation to LDCs, NICs and MEDCs, or consequences for social/economic groupings of nations
Tectonics 40 marker: How plate tectonic theory has helped humans to prepare for seismic events

The 10 marker you predicted for ecosystems is a development question?

How would you go about answering that 40 marker on tectonics, what would your plan be like?
